What are you talking about higuy... Everyone was screaming for non Reach weapon models, then the minute that they show us weapons that aren't reach weapons they are still bad xP They look perfectly fine to me, I like the AR especially.

just because they were changed, doesn't mean they're good. its a step in the right direction but obviously they could be better looking.

They do look good, that AR model is very similar to the Ma5B from the original game, what about it looks so bad?

its not really the ar im concerned about, mostly the pistol. the top of it, and its texture quality, is nothing in retrospect to the first game.

I dunno man, Looks perfectly fine to me, and even then I think its still way to early to judge, especially from a 30 second video :\

The AR looks like it's from Halo 3, and the Pistol looks like a reskinned Halo 1 pistol.

...but for the LOVE OF GOD LOOK AT THOSE FINGERS D:<

How did they manage to break the hand on the AR even more than it was before.

Christ.

Yes they look nice and all but I'll be too busy staring at horrible rigging on FP hands that I will see all the time [unless they fix it, which they better].

I think it would workout better if they used some custom-made assets for the models in this, reach assets work in reach, Halo 3 assets work in halo 3.

I doubt they will be the same when all is said and done, especially considering what we saw in the video with the weapons.

@314, and what is so wrong with it?

Looks great, definitely worth the measly $40 that they'll ask for it, hell I'd pay the full $60. I love the new pistol sound, the original always sounded weak as hell.

this whole project reminds me of FTW, which imo Pepsi and them did it better. (with the exception of the updated graphics engine)

LOL, I love Pepsi and all but his work can't compete with a modern professional game studio.

Pepsi did it all in this engine though with our limitations. with that said he did a damn good job.

also, ye...just because youre working on a big project aint mean youre a professional. i believe the current work we have seen from them so far is enough evidence.

Oh, I can guaruntee i'll buy the game brand new, just stating a few things I thought could use fixing up. I especially like the fact that the multiplayer uses Reach's engine.

What are you talking about!? They are using the same biped rigging, animations, and physics as the original game, the only difference are the models, and the textures put on them. Every thing that people have complained about looking bad so far, besides the textures, is all the same issues that were in the original game.

Also, there is no evidence that shows their work to be un-professional.

Professional = doing said task as a profession, and thus being paid for it.

so if you do it as a profession and get paid for it it automaticly means youre an expert in all these areas??

it seems the defination for professional differs between people so im not even gonna bother. but seriously, try to place your hands in the position of that AR that they have it in currently...its not comfertable one bit.

Oh yeah, you didn't read my last post, let me re-cap, they are using the exact same rigging and animations from the original game, completely unchanged. Therefore, they did not create said problem.

They have even said specifically that it is the same game with a seperate graphics engine layer that is put over the original engine. Please read before posting.

i do read before posting, but do note you have to rig the model to the animations and the model is not the h1 assault rifle, so stfu. and thats another point as to it being unprofessional imo, theyre using alot of bungies tags. jesus christ theyre lazy.
