The UUI wasn't out when Lumoria came out. If it was Lumoria probably wouldn't have wasted time making their own. Plus UUI is CMT.

It annoys me, that a great game is linked to a mediocre one in name.
Far Cry 3 is alright, Blood Dragon is a nice tribute to what it's inspirations are.

Also, it's standalone- you don't even need Far Cry 3 to play it- so what game it's coming from is irrelevant.

lumoria had one that was folded into the UUI, and had difficulty selection added to it.

Maybe one day if I can ever have the will to edit the UI's. They are so messy and difficult to work with I always go running to mooseguy.

About UUI I can do anything and everything except making new uiWidgetDefinitions and getting the "User Name" textbox screen to work. And that is where I am stuck. Looking forward to Mooseguy to help in this dire time.

Apart from all the garbage and in some cases outright broken content advertised in it, yeah- it's close to perfect.

It works for the maps it supports and of the 60,000+ that have downloaded it you are the only one to complain. Go fix it yourself if it's that big an issue and stop crying about it.

If you'd stop getting drunk and high and yelling at the top of your lungs on XBL you'd know we released it as one package, so we count all 6 playable maps, the 1 cinematic map, UUI, and 3 shared resource maps as a single download.

Halomaps UUI 1.0 has 39,915 downloads
Halomaps UUI 1.1 has 27,975 downloads

So SPV3 total is roughly: 35k (factor in torrent, mediafire always being late reporting downloads)
and the UUI on it's own has roughly 80k. Although it's not smart to combine the numbers simply because a fair amount of people likely had UUI for CMT and other campaigns before. But if even of the UUI downloaders didn't get SPV3, you are looking at 75k unique people who have UUI installed, with there being only one complainer.

The plan is to release it shortly after the 3.0.1 patch, unless anything comes up. 3.0.1 should be out next week.

Scripts, scenarios, ai, damage effects (maybe), post processing, shader environments, biped, vehicles, particles, and a few other things all have extensions and can't be extracted.

Nah I'm good, I'm just using another UI for the time being that lets me access the campaign directly.

Too bad about the very, very few and far between creations on the this site that are good and the only way to access them in a direct UI is to wade through tons of garbage in the UUI.

I'm not going to change my mind about this, nor stop mentioning it.
I'll only stop when it becomes irrelevant.

Not exactly, ijust want the moving crosshairs bitmaps, everytime i try to extract them, they are corrupted.

There hasn't been much to update on as we've only been working full time on it since late november.

Also knights and soldiers have been cut, and we've gone back to just having a sentinel beam and an enhanced sniper variant. When we had our prototypes working and went to insert them into missions, it became clear the only missions they'd work well in as enemies was 2 betrayals, and decided it wasn't worth it to work on them for just one mission. We do have sentinel constructors now in addition to the sniper sentinel variant. They work like a swarm of 20-30 angry bees that fry shields and clean up infection forms. They basically create shieldless environments that you can fight in.
