Please remove flood biomass from the C10 room pls. Or at least have it where the biomass is only seen in the smaller rooms. You know, the flood infection forms bust out of. The room doesn't look bad, it actually looks good but it's just awkward with the cinematic.

Otherwise, the flood missions look fantastic.

Removing it isn't really feasible. The biggest problem we had with the mission was that the 16 year old scare no longer worked, and it felt mundane. The pods are in the room to give you a whole new introduction to the flood, as we introduce all but 1 of our flood forms throughout that mission. They aren't there for decoration, but rather to introduce you a new concept of how the flood enter a battlefield, and the dangers of fighting in the middle of a flood hive.

Very interesting, I get what you are saying about a new introduction. I'm excited to see all the new flood features. In the trailer, I liked how the pods exploded when the MC was walking all over that stuff. Very awesome.

Something about the snow and the rock in The Assault on the Control Room is really jarring. I had a brief look at Truth and Reconciliation and it didn't seem to jump out to me as much there. Maybe because it's just because of the lower visibility or something I don't know.
2 Betrayals uses the same BSP more or less so it's the same issue there.


343 Guilty Spark looked alright. The Library looked like it had a great ambience too.
Was something done to the Library to make it feel less repetitive?

I still don't like that armor >:(
Terminals were looking great. I hope they've all gone through a proofreader.

The pods are a hugeee game changer when it comes to the flood. We throw a lot of new content with the flood at you in 343 GS, perhaps a little to much to fast. But we really wanted people to be established with the flood in 343 GS as there isn't much of a way to introduce new content in the library, and we obviously wanted as much diversity there as possible.

It's pretty much the same in stock if you look at it too. I think SOI wants to have a go at it. That BSP is one of the few we can edit, so we will see what happens.

Unfortunately, this is one of the fundamental problems with SPV3. Make new areas look vastly superior art wise than the old areas and it no longer blends seamlessly. Starting August 1st we will only be editing visuals and fixing bugs, so we will be revisiting this as stated earlier.

Sorry I kinda laughed because the snow and rock seam is seen quite clearly. From what I can see though it's just for this particular case, and I can sympathesize with the dilemma.

I am actually more and more convinced he is an alt account, his behavior is now self parodying. But I can't see anyone here wasting time to make crappy maps just to flesh out their alt accounts legitimacy

Anyway, I'm excited for SPV3, though I hope I can play other custom maps with it (apparently a new launcher and file location is used for it, had all my files in one place), though I have no idea how that would affect the skull menu.

The way it currently will work is when you download SPV3, it includes Halo CE. It verifies you have Halo CE installed, and then makes a copy of all needed files to a second directory halo spv3. From there, it creates a shortcut to spv3.exe, which is our mandatory launcher, which launches the location of the game.

The launcher is used to deliver updates (it downloads nothing to your computer), enable 60 FPS and other Chimera settings, EAX for enhanced audio, a functional continue button, and more planned features for the future.

One of these features is multi mod support. Eventually, the launcher will be able to let you switch between SPV1, SPV2, SPV3, and our next project currently named "Oddball", outside of ones Halo Custom Edition folder, with all that good stuff we listed earlier.

It simply alerts you to the updates, there is no requirement that you download anything once you play. In order to get the full expierence.
