Actually, yeah, cover most of their body is Hunter armour which, I presume, reflects all projectiles? Leave a few bits uncovered, like head, hands, joints etc. and turn off headbox. give it a try. just do something to make it harder.

other questions i have are; obviously dont go thru the hassle of making them player usable, but i think it would be cool if you put in hammer brutes, because one can just kill elites from a distance whereas the gravity hammer would have splash damage

next i would like to know if you can atach marines to your fireteam like it was in reach? if you guys could do that... where marines or odsts could follow you around that would be awesome


ODSTs are planned to be included, and those anime could be used in a custom sp map if we choose to.

That was one of the first things we fixed ;). All AI grenade throwing is greatly reduced, and Brutes don't get frags either.

We were going to try doing something where the frag nades could be both human and a brute model, but it obviously never worked.

Before you edited your post you said they couldn't update, do elaborate on what exactly stops them from updating their game.

I edited my post because I put the hyphen in the wrong place. Idk what your beef is or why you're on my case. What exactly stops many pirates from updating their game? The fact that they didn't buy Combat Evolved.

1) You can't explain yourself

and

2) The only time halo ever checks if a key is valid is when you are installing the game and when you are joining a server. There would be nothing stopping someone from running haloupdate.exe, it doesn't matter if a key is blocked by gamespy it can still be used to install and update the game. Any other cracked version of the game probably disables the auto update so that they can continue to play on 1.00 with the modified servers.

The only thing version changer does is change a string, it's possible to view every server from any version of the game. Halo gets all the information from every server but it only displays the information of servers that have the same version string as the client.

We've got way cooler weapons to add than a weapon that would half work. The Brute Shot EMP mode is similar to the human grenade launcher anyway.

We've got something new planned for the hunters, which isn't working yet. If it works though, it'll give the Hunters a nice Gears of War 2 type twist when fighting them.

oh and btw hydrogen the porta turret doesn't damage your shields anymore, it has a much slower rate of fire and just does massive damage, although it is very inaccurate.

oh alright.. but is there a way to make marines not shoot at the dropships because in a30 at the first structure the marine could take it down in seconds. then if he got in warthog it would destroy vehicles pretty fast.

The hunters in reach are easy, unless you're playing on legendary, in which it is almost impossible.

Also, if you can make the hunters bigger that'd be awesome.

As far as model/textures the hunter hasn't been sent through the SPv3 filter as far as I know so what you see here is almost certainly subject to change and improvement. I wouldn't worry about it too much

Well eventually the feet would go through the ground, theres a script command that can let you resize a biped to any size you want too if you want to try it yourself.
