Several changes have been made to the way you post images and links in the forum. We are now supporting the UBB code format for basic and advanced URL links. In order for any link to be rendered you must include the UBB Code tags or it will be treated as plain text.

List of changes

  • Must use [url] [/url] tags for ALL links

  • Can use [url=http://domain.com] text or image here [\url]

  • All [img] [/img] tags will be stripped from Quoted text - they may be added back in manually

  • "http://" will be pretended to any link within the UBB code that does not have it. Please watch your typos.

  • Brackets "<>" are now allowed and HTML tags will be rendered as plain text

It should be noted that quoted text with links posted prior to 07/28/2011 may not always render properly in your quote area as the text has the old formatting rules applied. You will now need to watch your closing tags.

If you have any questions or find any issues please let me know.

ftp://192.168.3.1/ results in "ftp//192.168.3.1/". How do we give links using non-http protocols?
