I hate Halo's gameplay, and I hate COD with the exception of 4, 1, & 2. Everything else is full of unbelievable storyline and a spammy multiplayer.

In terms of intelligence, probably. But Halo's MP is pretty slow, and COD is full of trash talking 9 year olds. I'd prefer a median between taking forever to kill someone and doing so within 2 seconds, but alas, no such game exists. Maybe Bad Company 2 MP, but never played that much.

To bad their milking that franchise now with a new game yearly. Mass Effect is still on new game every 2 years.

Depends on what you consider milking a franchise, if the devs are still enjoying making the games then I don't consider it milking. And also I'm just a major Assassin's Creed fan-boy. =P

What is to moderate? People are stating their opinions about the two games and as long as they do so without resorting to name calling it is fine. Just because this a a Halo forum doesn't mean everyone here has to ONLY like Halo. If you disagree with a person's assessment of another game then state why in polite terms. That is how a civil discussion between people of differing viewpoints is conducted.

Every other COD Game sucks. Well, except maybe for the early ones. COD is trying to milk it just a bit too much. Basically every new COD Game is the same with a new coat of paint. Halo, it may release one eveyr year mostly, but they're different. They all have interesting differences, new and incredible things. Example for Halo 2, Dual Wielding, Destructable Vehicles, just as awesome storyline
Halo 3, Forge, better graphics, just as awesome storyline.
ODST: Firefight, awesome weps, VISR, Just as awesome Story
Wars: SUCKS. Thats why its different.
Reach: Forge World, more customisation, space battles.

I believe Halo is the best game out there. Any1 agree, say yes. Any1 disagree, tell me why. Make my understand from your rong point of view.

Personally I really like the Halo story line and how rich the universe they created is but the game I like the most so far is Left 4 Dead. Although Halo was one of the first games to have large vistas and rich environments easily shifting back and forth from season to season, the game play mechanics is the same as that in Doom and Quake with the addition of vehicles. Basically point and shoot.

What I like about Left 4 Dead even though it is point and shoot is that it was the very first game to require not just suggest team play in it's multi-player mode. They structured the mechanics of the game in such a way that it punishes lone wolf style of play and rewards actual team work. No other game had done that before. Halo games must by the design of the story encourage lone wolf style of game play because after all the story of Halo is told through the eyes of the Masterchief, the ultimate lone wolf, and even in Reach and ODST you played the nameless lone wolf of the team.
