I will remake in snow, hence the name "With_Whiteness"...

You got my attention. I'm looking forward to this.

This is actually looking pretty good so far. Cut down on the smoothing on the edges of that ring structure thing though. In Halo 3 it has alot of blocky-ish edges. Just so people don't start being immature about the title, you should try and think of a better name.

Also: I really can't resist asking, and please give me an honest answer, how in the world did you get the CMT weapons?

CMT was going to release their tags anyway, idiot.

If I was Teh Lag, I'd refuse to even release the tags officially after this. But then I suppose, CMT's used to stuff like this so they've probably prepared their tempers for the worst.


Looks like a cool map idea though. Just stop ripping. And stop pirating too. I've learnt to understand that anyone that rips probably just happens to coincidentally be a pirate as well.

If I was Jaz, I'd refuse to post such a idiotic comment on Halomaps again. Without ripping most of the things in CE would not even be possible.

Without ripping there might actually be decent people on these forums. But eh, believe what you wanna believe I guess.

Take note he said most. I agree; ripping is what keeps this thriving. Its a shame nobody has released a weapons pack from IHalo's Halo 3 Model pack. That was nice.

Anyway, all I was suggesting was that you should wait for CMT to actually release their tags officially rather than being impatient and ripping the tags.
I was also suggesting that ripping's not actually required for anything, contrary to what Duce Primo thinks, but I really can't be bothered to start an argument right now.

I'll tell you the usefulness and benefits of ripping: Ripping has a number of uses in the development of a mod, a map, or anything like that. First, if it is a map, rips can be used to replace a tagset that will eventually be made. For example: Use iHalo's Halo 3 Model's pack for weapons before you get around to making the Halo 3 weapons, as a placeholder to see what gameplay will be like. The rips can also be used in the final build of a map, therefore having a good tagset without going through the trouble of collecting tags and/or making them yourself, like the SPV3 weapons in this. And lastly, rips can be used to express how noobish you are if you are not a good modder, say the Altheros situation.


That may not be a full compendium, but that is the basics.
