After trying to solve my problem of why sapien doesnt play custom sounds, I added some backgrounds sounds and sound.environment. Now after 15 seconds sapien die.

This is what debug .txt says:

I've never seen that error before...

What are the formats of the sounds you put in? Sound rate, all that.

someone once said that the cause of this error is because the "gain" field in guerilla for one of the tags is not between 1 and 0 but tool isn't showing which tag it is. Try opening your custom sound tag and scroll to the bottom and find the gain field, set it to something that is NOT over 1 or under 0

EDIT:: and then you might have to recompile the sound again

I'm having this same issue with ogg sounds but after EXCEPTION I get...

C0000005 status_access_violation.

I will start my own thread with my problem in the next day or 2

do you have the updated and working ogg vorbis encoder on halomaps? If not, get it here:

http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=1632

and move it to your haloce directory. Do not replace the files already in there, just rename them (some maps like firefight-descent have issues with these new files)
