Experience the magic of Halo's Firefight alongside the Campaign and Multiplayer modes.

When Bungie introduced Firefight to the world in Halo 3: ODST, it became an instant hit. Millions of hours of playtime have since been logged on the mode, and many maps have been created to bring that experience to the first Halo game. Each one has applied its own creative spin, making each unique and fun.

In 2012, a Firefight map named Descent was released to the Halo CE community; it was a culmination of two years of sweat, tears, failures, successes, and teamwork. The result is a dedication to the beauty of Halo's gameplay, bringing the best elements into one awesome endlessly-replayable package.

This Descent UI furthermore honors the mode by integrating Firefight into the same menu as the classic Campaign and Multiplayer selections. I hope the players will take advantage of this opportunity, and rediscover the hectic entertainment that Firefight brings to the Halo sandbox.

*yawn* Why does the description sound like an article in a history mag?
The design is fairly similar to the original UI (which is good for you).
The title looks a bit weird though (color and shape).

Lol, I patterned the title after Descent's logo style.
As far as the description, its the best I can do to show the core purpose of this UI. It's not to show off Firefight-Descent as much as it is to honor the Firefight mode itself.

Good question. I scripted it so that if you don't have the map, it will play an error sound. If you do have it, it will load.

I like the concept, but the font o.o

could you make a variant that looks more professional, and where we can add our own FF maps, as they are published?

Due to Halo's engine, there's no way to enable user-adding of maps to the UI without something like Open Sauce.

this is stupidly late, but you should have used a darker color for the text, or put the button background behind them. the neutral blue, best seen in the first image, blends with most of the other neutral colors, ala the grass and rocks.

I for one like the unique design logo that matches firefight descent, adds a uniqueness to this ui that it'd be lost without

if you guys want regular halo font, use the default ui

my grafics card is fine it only happends when i have firefight ui
