Hello again! :D
As I've already said in a previous topic, I've decided to make my own thread to show you all the stuff I worked/I'm working on.
My tags are various: a few are rips, most of them are modified versions of existing tags. Others are completely new to the community. I don't love ripping, because I think modifying tags is more creative, and even funnier!
I'll post a screenshot of my current tag (I won't proceed in chronological order, though) and, when you'll retain it's ok, I'll post the download link. I don't guarantee miracles :(
Feel free to use my tags as you wish, you can also upload them on Halomaps if I don't do it. Just be sure to give credit. I also recommend you to stay on topic, because I don't want it to be locked.

So... let's start with a tag I did recently. It's a replica of the Halo Wars Elites (reference image: http://images.wikia.com/halo/images/4/41/Halo_Wars_-_Elite.jpg )





I'm not really satisfied of the hands. The rest, on the other hand, came out pretty well!

I find the red eyes slightly compelling! That, paired with the Sangheili's(a well-trained one) command of the english language makes for a pretty stunning enemy. Especially if it were made to be the main antagonist.

I love it !

I know, the red eye gives to the Elites a more aggressive look (That's why I love the Halo Wars Elites. They are a fierce and clever enemy, that should intimidate the player, instead of looking like dumb squids). H4 dialogues would fit perfectly them <3
Anyway, I fixed the hands, plus some minor rigging issues:

Also tested the armour colours. That detail map makes everything sexy <3
Is it ok now? If so, I'll post the download link and I'll proceed to the next tag (Do you know which one, clonecam? :P)

Special thanks to who ripped the Halo 3 Elite (Advancebo I assume). I've also included a single-region collision made by HDoan, because I can't export multiple regions yet :[

Of course I'll do it, just like I did it for the Elite above u.u
About the animations, I've only made the gbxmodel, so you can use whatever animations you want. I just used those animations because they were the closest to the Halo 4 ones, but they were just a test

I actually managed to get the elite working without downloading the "fixed" archive. Also, I made Normal/Specular maps for it in OpenSauce, and boy does it look great!

Thanks for your proposal, Clonecam, but unluckily OS lags horribly on my PC =[
(Actually Halo CE lags also without OS lol)...
Try your best combinations with OS (I think the sword handle should look amazing with speculars)!

I got the model in this thread: http://forum.halomaps.org/index.cfm?page=topic&topicID=42283
Then I rigged it with CMT fp animations. But it's shaders are horrible, I had to remove the granulosity with Photoshop, and I'm not satisfied yet :/
Don't expect a release, not because I don't want it to be public, but because I need to get better textures...

I'll do my best with the sword shaders! and I think the blade would look cool with that neat Hexagon pattern on it. What do you think of that?

In Halo 4 it had a scratched metal pattern, in Reach the hexagons, but You can use whatever you want, since both of them were used. Just remember to take a screenshot of the sword, because I'd like to see the electricity working well (and also, of course, the specular effect ;) )

If I'm not wrong, the blade had the hexagon pattern in Reach, but it was almost invisible...

You know what might look good? Perhaps some kind of "tribal" design, like what the Arbiter has on his armor?

I think the tribal patterns in far cry 3 would be a fitting stile for the energy sword.

The model was ripped directly from Halo 2 by Shadowth117. I've rigged it and made new shaders. The lights were fun to make. For the teeth I've used Delta4907's Arbiter teeth, but just because I was too lazy to make again the same tag :P
You need HDoan collisions again. You can find them in the HW Elite archive.
By the way, I've decided to upload this directly on Halomaps, because I've seen that a lot of people need it. Do you approve? Let me know...

Heretic elite= QUICK! TO THE OPENSAUCE MOBILE!!!

BTW: I couldn't get the sword to look better, it already looks great, and the normal map I made for the handle is barely noticable.
