The model was ripped directly from Halo 2 by Shadowth117. I've rigged it and made new shaders. The lights were fun to make. For the teeth I've used Delta4907's Arbiter teeth, but just because I was too lazy to make again the same tag :P
You need HDoan collisions again. You can find them in the HW Elite archive.
By the way, I've decided to upload this directly on Halomaps, because I've seen that a lot of people need it. Do you approve? Let me know...

NEXT TAG: a GREAT surprise...
is it just me or does the arms look a little small and the hands are a little big?

Honestly they look regular to me, but I could be wrong. Anyway, since this is a rip, Bungie rules...

fo a moment I thought it to be one of those fat creatures from Halo: Reach but with no "beard-horns".

It was a cut covenant enemy. Watch some of bungie's videos that talk about hings cut from early halo games.

The textures looked a bit different than this. They were going to use it for mini bosses. Here is a picture of the original.

Its a covie. It was supposed to be a creature that was kind of imprisoned by the covenant. This made it pissed off all the time so when it fights you, it would be aggressive. Think about it like a hunter with super fists and then add steroids. Also the power of google has brought me this link so I don't have to retype everything. http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Drinol

Well IF the wiki is telling the truth... it means there is a leaked beta build of Halo out there. I havent been able to find anything that could show that it is photoshopped though.

It was most likely one of those leaked beta builds. It would've been interesting to fight one in halo 2 though (same goes for flood juggernaut).

That's my point.

Edit: The first pic and the concept art are all on the H2 LE DVD. It's the picture of it in 3p halo which is apparently a modded beta. If it's a modded beta, it means its leaked and someone out there has it. 100$ paypal to whoever can find the person who has it.

I rely like the hud in that picture looks good from the 1st person view and colorful to. minimalistic not taking up the hole screen I don't like looking 3 different places to pay attention to stuff. I like how the life , shield and what not is all right there on the radar.

Well, I've seen that there is a bit of confusion, so I'll explain what it is:
that creature is a Drinol, a creature inspired from the Drinniol in Marathon. Bungie wanted to put it in the pre-alpha build of Halo CE, but they decided to cut it. In Halo 2 they wanted to bring it back again, but finally they realized that a so strong creature wouldn't fit well the game, and they deleted it.

You can use it as you want, when I'll post the link ;)

BUGS:
Since I'm horrible at animating, the Drinol uses CMT's Brute old animations. This means that the Drinol is as tall as a Brute, and you need to use the object_set_scale script in order to get the correct size. Also, when it dies, it shrinks a bit (asd)

O.O I never got this error, when I killed the Drinol...
It looks like a sound error, maybe some of the dialogues are corrupted. Try removing the dialogue tag in the biped

Glad to know it!

Now, time for an update.
In the last post I wrote "RANDOM RESKINS". In fact, I've made some texture improvements, expecially for not revamped tags. Some of you may remember this:








Well, I've made things like that. For example, I've reskinned the H2 Jackal, in order to have a more H3-like look:







This required some model editing, though. I've also made a sniper variant, using the Halo CE helmet:

COOL!! It looks really well done, good job! I can't wait to see it ingame!

And about the Elites... well, to be honest I wanted to recreate the Halo 4 Zealot, but it is really hard. The other armours look really different, and they would be even worse (just think that Minors don't have the armour on their arms, something never seen before...).
Moreover, I can't figure how to export multiple regions, so I can't make armour permutations:
Bluestreak v1.0.1 works fine, but it merges all the regions in a single one, Bluestreak v.1.0.2 supports regions, but when I try to export something, it says <<Unknown property: "count" in $Bone:bip01 pelvis @[random numbers]>> D:

Does anyone know how to solve it?

I actually want to model the zealot, so I bought an action figure for reference lol, but I can't model worth a crap, the Space Banshee is just a port from Reach. I think the Space Banshee looks better than the normal Reach Banshee lol.

I agree, the Reach Banshee looks kinda stupid, except for the wings. I wish 343i changed it :(

They wanted H4 to be welcoming to "a new generation of players", and since the latest generation of 6 year olds probably have only played Reach, they kept that model. I wish they had changed it as well, but at least they got rid of the puke-green color.
