Agreed. I think this would be cool if it would look better. From what I'm seeing right now, to tell the truth, it doesn't look too great. :/

Recommend using actual Halo 3 marines, better warthogs, and.... maybe everything i see in those pictures.
I think the problems with most "style" campaigns are that the tags and styles don't fit, or go together very well.

Just a word of advice, don't just slap the tags in the map and change the fov like in other mods campaign mods I've seen. Make sure the weapons are balanced, the ai improved, and the particles and effects aren't just a mishmash of what came with each tags. Create a style for your mod and stay consistent with it (ex: if your using cmt's weapon effects, make sure all particles and effects are reminiscent of cmts effects. this means that every effect looks as if it were made by cmt, even if you had to make one yourself)

Don't do this. It just kills the mod. I mean, if you're going to just paste a halo 3 HUD on there, at least complete it before you take a WIP shot. It is one of the easiest parts of making a map like this.

What's up with the Marines' textures?

The back has the chest plate texture on it.

It works but I think you should probably use something else.

Lol all you do is get tags from Halomaps and maps hosted on it.

Make your own tags, don't make any H3 maps, make something new, something that isn't boring, something that has never been done before.

This is what I've waited for, changing the H3 style campaign because it annoys me of the old version bugs. hope you'll add more something new from the beta one to a full one

Number 2 is a great name for this campaign. Take all the reach assets out of it, throw some sauce on it, actually do something to the landscape rather than just leaving it all barren and terrible looking and fix the lighting on that pelican. Also, make it more reflective. It isn't a flying piece of wet modelling clay. use that as a reference.
Next thing; Instead of just re-skinning the halo 1 marine to 'look' like a halo 3 marine, why not just use a halo 3 marine?

The boxy-ness of the chest-plate gives it away. I'm sure if you ask around or just dig through the site's tag-set, you'll find a decent set of marines.. Or.. You know.. You could rip them yourself.
The problem with the 'Halo 3 campaign' mods is a lot of it is uninspired and there's little to no dedication. "Oh, well I can't find a tag for this so instead of creating one, I'll use a halo reach tag and hope no one notices."
If you're not willing to put in the effort, why try at all?

To even have a SUCCESSFUL Halo 3 campaign it would have to require a OS version.

This is your first mod, right? Everyone starts with a campaign mod usually, it's not a crime.
We have tons of H3 mods, but they are almost all crappy and bugged. I think that if he can obtain something like Zigadirasu's H3 Style Campaign, without its bugs, it could be fun, and a good thing.

So, to give you a constructive criticism, here are the list of the bugs that I found in Zigadirasu's campaign, plus some suggestions:
-Don't use CMT tags, unless they are a H3 port (like the Spiker). Zteam have released a whole set of H3 weapons, about the bipeds there are H3 Elites, Grunts, Hunters and Flood. I don't remember if there are some H3 Jackals, but you can use my H3 Style Jackals. Same for vehicles, don't use CMT Banshees, Ghosts and Shades, use the H3 variants (maybe with boost)
-Try to use H3 dialogues. Grunts had some problems with their voice in the original build
-Avoid, and I repeat, AVOID to just put weapons on the ground and not giving them to AIs. If Brute weapons are a problem, then add Brutes and Drones, but don't put weapons in random places because its pointless
-The old SMG had an horrible firing sound, though this isn't a problem if you use zteam's tags
-Add Jackal snipers
-When you killed a Zealot, its sword disappeared, but there were some usable energy sword randomly placed in the map. Give to Zealots the same sword you can use, and be sure that it doesn't deplete after killing the Elite
-As someone has suggested above, use the H3 marines instead of those reskinned ones. I have modded the H3 marines on Halomaps in order to have head permutations, and I have also made a Johnson variant, if you want
-The Bubble Shield was invincible. Unless you find a way to fix this bug, REMOVE IT
-Replace textures in a clever way
-Don't just replace the original Warthog with the Gauss variant, keep both the Gauss and the Machine Gun variant
-Add a Flamethrower, perhaps in the Library. Flames are effective against the Flood

And, concluding, don't just replace things, but add something new. New encounters with different enemies, more vehicles instead of just the Halo CE ones with different models (like a Chopper or a Hornet)... if it was in Halo 3, don't be afraid to put it!
