with all this talk of map making, im thinkin of making a map or two eventually, not sure if single player or multiplayer, but I need to know what is needed program-wise and etc, and howto do all that stuff, lol maybe throw in some os tutorial.

tip 1: don't give us a blood gulch mod lol. We have a million of them already!
tip 2: don't release it until you are confident that it will either be played by people, or you think you have made something great. In another words, if you only do a half-assed job, chances are nobody will be interested.
tip 3: Do the best that you can! This community could always use another person with skills, and you are sure to improve quickly. =)


Oh, and if you are looking for more recent tutorials, chances are you won't find many. This is because either those who made them don't do it anymore, or they are still relevent and don't need updating.

btw its all tutorials for 3ds max, not gmax
