This is the official thread of the Halo game that my team and I are currently working on. All video updates and photos will be posted here. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please post here!

BIG UPDATE









I have decide to use a different type of kit (the one that Slender: The Arrival and Rust uses). It's fantastic and works amazing with HaloMaps Content. So here is a photo! I'll post more later today though...

I can't really tell in the screenshots, but from what I've read on Halopedia, Installation 01 is predominantly the desert, so there's something to consider when it comes to level design.

Oh ok, hmmm I've been messing with the AR and I like it. Maybe make a new project with just a terrian and a UFPS camera with the guns? What about Dropbox?

I give you the MA5D, lol for muzzle flash you need to set the vector 3 like this:
x0.1712668
y-0.1163861
z1.277655
I take those coords placing the MA5D with ammunition default animation in x0y0z0 and rotation x0y90z0, focus to the primary_trigger and make a gameobject, the gameobject created it's in world, so it gives true coordinates.
for reload and fire, you need to link the animation to the prefab and the vp_WeaponShooter and vp_WeaponReloader.
Set the first vector 3 of Position Spring to zero, also the rotation spring and change the spread to a number between 1 and 2.

I'm afraid information is a bit scarce, aside from dimensions and technical specifications.

Sorta yeah. But the good thing about UFPS is it will have Photon multiplayer coming in the First Quarter of 2014.

I am close building a PC even though I am going to use cry engine 3 I will see if I can work with you.

I think that Unity and CryEngine aren't the best engines for a Halo Custom Edition.
Unity provides a tool that doesn't permit creation of custom dlc in easy ways(.map like), and we are using Ultimate FPS that's not free, so there's a lot of question to talk about.
CryEngine provides a complex but good tool like Sapien, but it's more hard create a weapon, a character and animations. It need C++ knowledge(I think it's possible to wrap to the more easy .NET). Another question to cryengine is it's not light, it needs a good computer at least a NVIDIA 760gtx with a i5 to have a fluid game play. In my laptop I've 70 fps with unity in high quality, 60 fps with Halo CMT SPV3 Yelo and 26 fps with CryEngine 3 demo scene.
The best way is a game engine written by zero, that support the standard .map, has a Guerilla, a Sapien and a lot of improvements like more tris per scene, multi core support and other funny features.
