I didn't expect 16 people to join so fast lol. So I found out that with too many players scripts lag the server and sometimes even crash it so I will make a new version very soon with fixes.

Well, a lot of people are probably joining cause they think your server's awesome, or they think that bigass is better than hugeass.

Besides, the textures and everything look awesome. Keep up the work!

This might be a funny question but how are you keeping track of your version number. anyway? are you like manually writing that down?

Writting it manually. I change it every time I test it online.

And I will fix those lag issues that occur in this version. I just made too many scripts and with 16 players server cant handle it.

Taking a short break from the server to make a few suggestions before I forget them:
•The MA5C looks nice, but it sounds kinda like it has a suppressor on it. Maybe fix this? It could also use a 2x zoom, I think, given the ranges involved and the lack of a battle rifle or DMR.
•The truck could be a bit faster, because while it has pretty heavy armor, it doesn't seem to last long against heavy weapons, which are fairly common on this map. I like the vehicle as a concept, but it feels like there's not really any advantage to using it when there are Warthogs available.
•The bases could use a couple more vehicles. A Mongoose or two, another LAAG Warthog, maybe even a troop transport Warthog.
•The gauss projectile drops over a distance, which goes against the general premise that gauss weapons fire at very high velocities. I understand this drop may have been implemented for gameplay purposes, but I think if anything, a brief charge-up or cooldown time before or after each shot would make more sense.
•If you have no luck with the Falcon, perhaps you could look into using Hornets?
•A man-portable light machine gun like the M247 GPMG from Halo 2 could serve well on this map.
•Rather than everyone spawning with a sniper rifle, maybe they could have a battle rifle or DMR instead, and sniper rifles could be in the base armory?
•The binoculars and other power weapons might need slightly longer respawn times.
•An additional room in the base could be nice. Maybe like a small command center, with computers and a top-down view (not updated in realtime, just a map) of the area on a monitor?
•The armory can get a bit crowded when there are two people inside of it at one time. There's only enough room for one person to get around on two of the sides. Perhaps expand this slightly, so that one person can't block passage?
•A rocket launcher could be nice, possibly as a replacement for the Spartan Laser considering you already have three high-velocity anti-armor weapons as it is (Gauss cannon, gauss rifle, Spartan Laser).

I agree with this mostly. However I think that everyone should spawn with a sniper rifle. This is a vehicle map. The existing vehicles need changes, and more need to be added.

Falcon: Slow. Clunky and awkward to fly. Vulnerable. Easy target due to movement issues.
Truck: A bit too slow.
Spade: Way too slow. The Spade in Reach is faster than a Hog.
Scorpion: Does not need a gunner seat. Perhaps add a carry compartment for other Spartans.

In previous versions there was a Mongoose at each base. That was perfect. Moving them all the way out was less than ideal.

Camo needs changes. It is too obvious, I can spot it a mile away. The cool down time is also too long.

Don't add a BR or DMR. All the DMR models look cheesy and the BR sucks at long distance.

The bases need to be bigger. The armory is too small. Its only really enough for one person, let alone an entire team. There needs to be more Warthogs,Mongooses, and maybe one more truck. When we were playing with a couple of guys it was fine. But for 8v8 I realized it would leave most of the team stranded at their base waiting for the weapons and vehicles to respawn.

Motorcycles would be a good addition. Make them faster than the mongooses and weaker too. One person, and easier to flip.

Just my two cents.

I don't think motorcycles work well in Halo CE, falling off doesn't work real well which makes using them feel very off. I Spades and Mongooses at the bases would be good.

Well I'm getting lots of suggestions and the bad thing is some of them are opposite. But the thing I'm sure of is that I'm keeping Falcon. I'm not sure about rocket launcher yet but a lot of people are suggesting it so who knows, I might use it in the map. I never played with more than 8 people so I never got any problems with vehicles and scripts. In next version I will get rid of optional scripts and I might add mongooses in bases. In the future I will make new tank which will be destroyable and that should balance it. The spade is pretty much useless now and I will keep it this way. I'm not going to make any big changes to BSP itself for now, maybe in the future.

Now to clear things up, Bourrin ported reach warthogs and ingamed Masternoob's AR. He also ported truck but it was really bad so I remade almost all the tags for it. I ported Spade, modeled/ingamed Falcon and created binoculars. Mongoose is ripped from some map... I'm really not sure which but I also remade most of the tags for it.

Spade is in the middle of the map and you can use it if you are there without any vehicle efgnfthaerndhrentdghrebfdg bdf and it's fun to drive. I don't know why but I probably make no sense right now...

The spade is usless man come on........ I though this map was going to be promising.

I will start to lloving this map if you remove that silly AR and bugs......

You know what I though this map was going to be amazing and I'm not saying it failed it's just that I though it will be the best map.

Overall, Amazing. 9/0 (a lot better than what most other HCE map makers make. no offence to you guys out there. At least it's definitely better than any of mine :P)

But, this is what i think.

Truck:
Now, you personally said that it was an armored truck, so I don't think that ballistic weapons or automatics should be able to do that much damage. Also, half the time we were playing, half the people were saying that the truck windows should be bulletproof. I semi-agree. The sniper should still be able to head shot the driver (well depends on which one) but shouldn't really damage the inside people. If you think about it, why are the passengers (who are completely sealed in an armored compartment) getting hurt when the driver's getting strafed? Ok, when a warthog turret starts hitting the outside and the bullets go through Ok.

What people said about the truck in earlier posts, I disagree. It's supposed to be an armored truck, and you don't see those going down highways zooming at 100 km an hour. The point of it is kind of like an armored tank without a turret.

Mostly though, it's kind of weaponless and needs an escort, so maybe add a gunner seat (you know, with a turret on top, like kind of like a machine gun) and also perhaps a second driver/passenger seat in the front.

Falcon:
Didn't get to use it at all (NO FALCONS LOL :P)
No opinion.

Spade:
No idea what it's like in Reach. No Opinion.

But maybe let players sit in the back?

Mongoose:
Pretty good, although maybe more spawns?

Scorpion:
MOREEEEE SCORPIONS

Warthogs:
Gauss:
Turret is slightly under powered, especially on infantry. Nice reload rates though. Like the balance and stuff.

Rocket:
Nice, but the rockets are slightly under powered against infantry. Takes 3 hits to take one down

LAAG:
Nice. just like the originals.

Overall,
9/10!

An opinion does not warrant a change. If it was a widely held oppinion about something gameplay related, that could warrant a change. But I like the assault rifle, so by your logic, he has to do what I say and keep it if he wants to improve his map.

That would be incredible, but it's really essential if contingency release their game and that way we can use their assets and gameplay.

So you'll need to wait however you can still make the map on CE3 while contingency still developing the game.

I will be shifting there once I am done building a PC.

I think the base really needs like, 2 entrances for the armory and making it bigger, atm grenade spam can quickly ruin it. Also for the AR it's definitely not going to change, I guess you people hate it because it's not H4/REACH but eh, whatever, I promote custom-made.

Just cause it ain't H4 or Reach, doesn't mean it sucks. I agree with custom-ness. Custom weapons (as long as they're not extremely op) are pretty good, like the camo ar.

I think it's because the map have a lot of objects...

You should try playing without OS effects and/or disable xfire ingame. I always get 60 fps in this map with my average laptop.

I dunno, we were kicking some srs @$$ when I had two passengers with sniper rifles. For some reason other players couldn't really hear us driving around so we would either quickly get behind infantry and my passengers would get out, take their shots, and then we'd make a getaway. It's like a mongoose with more passengers, and it's bigger which makes running people over a lot easier.

Maybe try extending the armory to be like The Pillar of Autumn or Cairo Station.
