Custom HUD Colours - F9
Another key which I use suddenly ruined by a preset HAC key

F7 still is a piece of crap.

The developer has to know that people use this with OS? Did he make the key F7 just to troll with everyone?

I just have a seperate install of the game, one for OS and one for HAC. It's not that much of a trouble!

The new update ruined any compability that it had with OS sadly. It really is one or the other now.

Why? You can turn the HUD scaling off in either OS or HAC 2.

Guess what key everyone sets "record" to on their screen recording software?
F9.

Couldn't they set Sightjacker to another key? I'm not sure if the dude is aware of this but a lot of us have OS installed and F7 shows the OS menu. He's either an idiot or doing this on purpose.

Halo still crashes when you download a map, he needs to fix this.

An idiot? Inconsiderate maybe, but he isn't an idiot. HAC adds functionality to the game that no one was even dreaming of back in the day, and single-handedly got me (and certainly some others) playing this game again after a much needed hiatus.

You are a rude person, especially considering the person who posted just above you is the creator of HAC.

Although I will agree - the only reason I don't have OS installed is because it clashes with HAC (which I personally prefer, but I wish I didn't have to choose).

I use both What I do is to press ESC and then to give him F7 then to remove the menu and to return to press F7 and that leaves the menu OS

HAC updates automatically AFAIK

For the person who's game crashes upon downloading a map, what happens exactly? I tried to join a "bigass beta" server yesterday and it downloaded the map but the game hung on the loading screen at "verifying and installing."

Haven't tried any others yet

Like I mentioned the preset keys are a load of crap and the reason why I don't use it anymore.

F9 dosen't work for me, same with the "widescreen fix". I downloaded the latest download from the website.

You've probably got an old file in your Halo directory. Look for "hac.dll" in your HPC/HCE directory and delete it.

Before you call someone names, why don't you check the HAC THREAD and see the post saying CUSTOM KEYBINDS COMING SOON.
Jeez, you people throw insults too quick.

You never answered my question as to why my BSP/polycount or whatever isn't doubled.
I am running latest halo custom and latest HAC2, no open sauce, so what gives?

I think they should add an option to change the hotkeys because by just occupying them it can you can F up things really bad.

I almost never check the hac2 blog (like a lot of other people) and I wanted to record something with fraps and then I had to learn that hac2 ocupied the default recording key of fraps in the most cruelest way ever, BY SCREWING UP THE RECORDING OF SOMETHING I WANTED TO CATCH FOR A LONG TIME.
