I am running a completely up to date version of CE and HAC2, however my BSP hasn't been doubled like it is supposed to.

What do? and what could be causing the problem?

Edit: If it helps, everything else seems to be working fine.

If your BSP isn't working properly then you haven't set it up right or are using way to many polygons then the recommended amount. Don't rely on HAC to do dirty work for you.

what are you talking about? I'm not making a map. In the game itself, I play maps like z_sanctuary (like the one in the demo video) and extinction, etc. and it's not working.

It's completely set up right.

It's not meant to double the poly limit in existing maps... its for maps that are developed with more polies rendered than the game can draw on it's own.

It only works if you're using patch 1.09 at the moment, although the next update will make it available for all versions. It does however work for existing maps - there aren't any special HAC maps.

I wasn't aware of OS having a poly limit upgrade. If it does, it doesn't work on existing maps.

Edit: I'd double check that you're actually using the official 1.09 patch.

OS also works on existing maps. Both have same effect as far as I know.

Apparently not, although I can't really be blamed for not being aware of it when it's an entirely undocumented option that requires the user to edit an XML file. I doubt anybody has it enabled.

Yeah, if you look at some of the more recent cmt stuff like the recharge stations that all uses the next version.

New version of OS comes out the same day as Half Life 3 and Lumoria ep 3.
