I fairly certain it was mostly the tagset being a problem.

Or the almost 1GB file no one wants to download.

The Halo graphics engine is obsolete.
The expression BSP (Binary Space Partition) is not valid.
My BSP on other engine:
~2 000 Vertices
~4 000 Faces

How are the Brutes gonna play in Sierra 117? I saw tye CMT brutes, but, i was wondering if they would play more like in Halo 3.

Still looking into balance. Just trying to get the BSP/scenery ingame. Less worried about encounters atm and everything in the video was just thrown in honestly. H3 Brutes models are looking like a possibility. If I can get a script working that I like they may even throw down equipment. (ie brute health drops low > randomly decide if should use an equipment or not > if use equipment, randomly pick equipment and spawn on brute)

If you need help with actually, ingaming the bsp. I have some expertise in getting the poly count low enough.







Two cex battle canyon blue bases ripped using adjutant, one (original rip) which totals out at 80.000 tris. And the other a little over 7,500 tris.

At the moment we don't need help in-gaming BSP. Just OS-Shader work. Also is someone good at rivers cause I have no idea how to make the river in bsp_010 to work properly. It'll probably need to be completely remade for Halo CE

i am already doing OS shaders for you matt, did you forget? XD
atm i am working on weapons (me and mikecyborg are also working on balancing them). next is vehicles, and bipeds will come last.
the halo 3 marine is being worked on by savinpvtmike its already rigged and the faces are getting close


by the way as a little side question: i cant download 040_voi from your ftp, it always quits before it is 100% downloaded. could you upload to somewhere like mediafire, pm me the link, then delete it?

im gonna have arby done by tommorow, I guess im shader guy #2? me and pvtmike just got done cooping on halo 3, and we shared a bunch of ideas and stuff to do.

just messing around with some shaders. what do you guys think so far (yes i know the hand marker is fuqed up) the specular colors look fine but i need to mess with the exponent a bit more

Does someone who understand how to make streams for Halo help out? We need to completely redo the streams in this level because the originals don't work with Halo CE/I cant figure it out. (And I mean just bitmaps- no modeling required)

OH I know something someone can do if they want. Make the skybox. I haven't even touched that

they do as a matter of fact, they are not the exact same textures wise but they are almost identical geometry wise
