It seems as though your soul has been blessed by Johnlex.

You've just raised the bar on plastic looking shaders. I never thought it to be possible for the Halo 1 engine (with a little help from OS) to have such realistic plastic. Bravo, I tip my hat to you.

H4 itself is plastic. Hell, the fact we did h4 at all means we are blessed.

Doesn't look overly bad.
Only gripe I've got is the shader on that visor. Moar shiny plz.
E: Looks like it could use a cubemap as well.

You dont really need much effort to make it look good as soon as you have all the bitmaps and multis in place.

Would like to see how he goes about creating shaders from scratch, either in OSh or NOH

That's the one with orange shoulder pads. Also, on the right arm of the biped the arm is slightly separated from the shoulder. It doesn't bother me too much, jk it does.

I have evidence that suggests it's a problem that can solved without redoing the rig.

Here is a picture of the unmodified suit rig you provided us with a while ago.

And this is what it looks like after I did some welding.

I believe he means if you pulled an Echo and did some sort of REAL LIFE SRS BSNS case study on it and evaluate its effectiveness in a combat scenario....the design doesn't really make sense. You're bisecting your vision for no apparent gain. And if it's not a physical visor ala everything before it, why even bother with the fluorescent stripes that give your position away?
