I don't normally make these posts, but IGN is doing daily news on the MCC for the rest of the month, so I figured it be nice to get a thread going for it rather than people posting a new post each day. Along with the announcement they also posted a short trailer, which has some of the new remastered music and some new Blur cutscenes, showing off more of Tartarus and Chief running from Regret's temple, you can view that all here: http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/10/03/the-ign-first-game-for-october-ishalo-the-master-chief-collection

You don't know what your talking about bro, 343i employee said we can't say yes or no at this time.

They probably wanted to port halo 4 in a first place but 360 system is old and complex.

First pic of H2A Coagulation over here.

Coag looks cool but I don't really see how necessary the airlifted bridges are. Really like the way Warlord looks and that they brought back the sentinel beam.

I don't have any opinions on Coagulation as of yet, I see no issues with it however.

343 really still hasn't grasped how forerunner is supposed to look -_- they keep overcomplicating it and it ends up looking either too human or too much like generic sci fi crap. part of the mystery in forerunner structures is in the simplicity

also, is it just me or is the scale a bit off and the bases are not rotated towards each other like they are supposed to be.....

Depends which ring. If its coag from h2, the Delta Ring was never destroyed? I also agree with danger zone, the map is extremely dull and looks giant turd. Every variation of bloodgulch is always sunny and somewhat alive, which is nice, especially compared to all these other maps they have been doing so far.

I figured their artists would do better with the prize map of the Halo franchise, and I've had no problems with the other maps. The concept art just looked so good. :(

Not a fan of coag artstyle either. The bloodgulch variants have always been about green rolling hills with silver forerunner structures, the defining Halo artstyle.

Yeah that first solo just...what is this, acid rock? It's supposed to be cool and melodic, not "AWW YESHSHS AIUIJKW GRAW LSD DUOOODDE"

Also I hate how fast the choir is at the beginning. But otherwise I guess it's alright?

Coag looks alright as a re-imagining and not a remake. It's very bland and desolate, most likely a deliberate action based on the surrounding skybox. Personally, for the intended artstyle it suits, just the metal poles look off. And why would they need the blue and red bases to have orbs? Unless it's a new game type, that's odd.

there is one song I dont recognize that is in there, im sure that is replacing blow me away... the song is cool, but why eliminate the original?

it might be for the banshee section on the gas mine, but all the new higher fidelity audio has to be re-recorded, they chose to do new music for the featured bands rather than just rehash the original. The original is still there though in classic mode.
