I don't get what you're trying to say? Are you suggesting that nolead is bad? What is the point of the video?

Are those really the weapon sounds that they decided on?

He has a small dick and wants to wave it in front of your unsuspecting face. Who knows? You might even enjoy it. Open your eyes and then let me know if the experience was worthwhile.

Well, I'm gonna say that I never did like No-lead. Ruined my entire skill-set for CE. I had too re-adjust for 2-4

I'm impressed that they've actually managed to make the game worse than the 11-year-old PC version.

2) no dedicated playlist for h1
3) same weapon spawn time bug as pc
4) co-op netcode still garbage
5) didn't even fix the broken shaders

But it's literally the same damn game with no changes except increased resolution and 60 fps

Imagine the target is moving from left to right of your screen, with lead you have to aim a little bit to the right of the target to hit it, the more lag/speed, the more to the right. Without lead, you just have to aim for the target in the center and shoot.

Oooooooo, I've never noticed that at all so pffft to lead or no lead.

Thnx for taking the time out of your day and explaining btw.

Let's be serious for a minute. 343i is like Infinity Ward. They absolutely have no idea what they're doing with franchise. Oh! Get this, you're right, leading is actually worse in MCC than Halo PC/CE. The game has aim-assist which is bad thing to have if you have a FPS where you have to lead your shots.

What are you talking about? Halo CE in the MCC is great. Have you played the game? It functions just fine where weapons actually behave like they were meant to and you don't have to worry about CE's POS netcode. Oh boo hoo, my sniper shots are actually landing where I aim!

I'm confused. Do you want to have to lead shots or not?

Yes.

Yes I did. What was I supposed to get out of it? That people don't know how to play Halo CE? In the MCC I still lead shots but not as drastically as on PC (considering the actual projectile tag has travel time and is not hitscan) but the game plays great online when it actually decides to start a match. The MCC is loaded with bugs and problems but AFAIK CE online has none. Yes, I own the game too.

h1 in mcc is fun. I've played a few different maps on it so far, including Blood Gulch, Chillout, Derelict... etc. Almost every time we get into a voting sesseion the Halo 1 map is picked over the others (unless ofc Lockout is there). I've yet to play any PC maps in matchmaking yet though. I can't wait for there to be a ranked Halo 1 playlist, or even just a classic Halo 1 playlist.

I should note that the CE online in mcc seems to borrow a ton from the PC version. For example, there was one game where it got pretty laggy, and even the little ethernet symbol with the X marker popped up in the corner.

I've yet to play it, so allow me to ask; Does it use the new features added in PC version? (FRG, Flamethrower Rocket Warthog and so on)

I'm not entirely sure about Flamer or FRG since I haven't checked or wasn't paying attention, but BTB Blood Gulch had rocket hogs.

Concerning the lead: so apparently there is a ton of connectivity issues with the game. 343i designed MCC to fall back on a peer-to-peer matchmaking models when dedis are down (which they most certainly are). On p2p, if you are off-host, the lead is about the same as hpc, but much less consistent (ex: sometimes you have to lead a lot, and other times not at all).

I haven't seen any rubberbanding or warping, though so that's a start.

And yes, the FRG, flamethrower and rocket hog are all there - however the game settings in the Team Slayer playlist don't include them (thank god ffs). Rocket hog seems to be in BTB judging from a video I saw, but I haven't been able to join a BTB match myself. Seriously the matchmaking is truly in a shameful condition, hopefully the upcoming patch at the end of the week fixes most issues...

I wish they would do something right for once. Personally I would feel better if they would just stop making Halo games because they seem to be getting lower and lower in quality, but I know that will never happen.

Guess we better get ready to rip from this.
