I was wondering if there is a way to do lan party gaming without needing a separate key for each machine. (only for lan not internet)

Pretty sure there is no CD-key check in a game over LAN.

Pretty sure there is; I've tried it before.

Well If that Is the case I guess i'll have to google to find some keys and run the game in new folders.

Try using a multiclient. I use it to test on LAN all the time.

Get the Halo CE Dedicated server app, install sapp on it(will remove cd-key check). And use that to play on lan.

That's weird, IIRC SAPP doesn't remove CD-key checks. It did have such an option ("sv_cdkeycheck 0" I think) several versions ago, but that option has disappeared. Only Gandanur has such options now (the unrestricted version).

Maybe it's just by default now?
