True, but that's the only interactive part I believe, aside from the clickable table of contents. The rest is just still images.

Also fun fact: There's a small easter egg hidden somewhere in the TSC:E manual, and nobody has found it yet :D


All I found were a few spelling mistakes. :( Hints?

If by "spelling mistakes" you mean Noble difficulty, that was intentional. As for hints, I already told you it exists, that's as much as you get :D

That document just really struck me. And it points out so many mistakes even I do now. Damn, you guys do a fantastic job.I can't wait to see what you guys do in your future endeavors.

This map runs fine on my Rig but on my laptop it crashes in the intro. Any ideas?

Playing the latest version of the level freezes my PC and makes the sound keep looping and it didn't do this before.

Yeah the map loads(sometimes) but the geometry deloads in the intro and crashes. Claiming that msvcr.dll is the module at fault.

I know there are a bunch of screens already, but does anyone have decent resolution screenshots of TSC:E environments?
I want to get a bunch together and set it as desktop backgrounds. :)

So I played through this map numerous times. Loved every moment.

Attempted the Golden Pistol Challenge. Failed miserably.
D:

Anybody notice that after you activate that bigass bridge, upon leaving the server room (without killing any invis-elites); going back they all freeze in place?

That bug has been around since Halo was originally released. I'm not sure what causes it, I've never bothered to check.

We ever find the easter egg in the Manual or the way to get the Pelican to rise from the water and drop off some weapon?

The freezing bug happens when BSPs switch and AI don't function in the new one. You'll see warnings in tool when it happens.

You've gotta play on legendary, and as soon as you land on the beach switch to pistol. Then you gotta beat the whole thing, killing e'rrybody without entering any vehicles, without cheats, and without swapping to any other weapon.
At least, that's what I've been trying to attempt.

I too want to know about the easteregg in the manual. Also, I don't think anyone ever found the DMR that's hidden on non-noble difficulty.

Anybody know the seat name for the troop doors? the grav lift is "phantom" but I couldn't figure out what the doors were ._. Guerilla and docs didn't help...

I think that .yelo maps can't be featured as they are uploaded to the archive untested.

Kind of a disadvantage of using OS and .yelo maps.

Gotcha. Thanks for the explanation.

Chagrined edit: I blame Ifafudafi, he jokingly told me to ask about the featured part and I took it as an actual suggestion haha.

I also included one last hint at an easter egg since nobody here has found it. Good luck!

Crossing my fingers that this topic isn't dead, I recently installed halo ce, opensauce 4, hek, etc with the intention of playing this super dope looking map, but I'm having some pretty significant issues, namely that there's a really obnoxious hissing noise that seems to have replaced the sound of all human footsteps, and also the dynamic lighting turns the walls into rainbow colored chaos wherever it hits. I'm probably doing something stupid wrong, but I've been through all the troubleshooting steps I can think of, reinstalling updating drivers etc, and I'm stumped. Help me halo modding wizards, you're my only hope

Seems like an issue with your bitmaps.map and sounds.map
