Hey guys! Looking to get a little better at modeling challenging and complex shapes? Do you frequently have trouble with tricky geometry, and need to up your game? Just bored at work and want to kill some time?

I want to see which modelers of the halompas community can make a hi-poly, hi-res, energy sword hilt. It has to be textured, and several screenshots must be included, from diffrent views, and wire frame.
I'll ask the winner to upload the 3ds file.

No mat, the modeling is great as always but the shaders all look like rock.

I actually wanted to see the modeling skill of the community.
Tough if you have the model, i wont disagree.

I am starting one of my urban concept maps:



So far I literally only have the sidewalk edge done, lol. I'm gonna start from the ground up because there is so much more I've learned since I began my other map that it'd be better to re-do certain parts. I'm mainly a lot better at blending stuff to look better thanks to GTA IV models.

Exactly. Essentially a very miniscule number can do it properly so why bother lol

I'll work on the blending between the two street textures. I plan to make a bunch of these types of sidewalk pieces, maybe this way I can just build a map faster than usual. I think I'm done for tonight.

I can model OK but the texturing part just screws me up so hard lol

IDK where you guys source all your materials from but it sure as hell isn't gimp.
