Hi !
So i have been working on this for 2 months,i think now is the moment to post this here, is a replace for the old and classic bloddgulch, This mod contains new vehicles, new weapons, new sounds and much more, is not just a texture or sound mod, this adds new models, particles, effects , making the map more enjoyable. You can join any server of blood gulch on any game-type.(This is my first project in halo ce)

Special Thanks to:
CMT (for almost all the tagset)
Altis94 (for helping to fix the fp animations)
Nex (Amazing shaders, bitmaps and effects)
Deathstar ( u know why )

little Q&A:

Q: Are you going to do the same with all the classic maps ?
A: Hell yeah !.

Q: Does all the new "fp" animations match with the old ones ?
A: Yes!, but i still working on this.

Q: This mod will have adventages ?
A: Some, like zoom with any weapon, shield sounds, etc.

Still work in progress, but hopefully is going to be relased in this year's CE3

The backpack weapons and stock biped look silly with the updated weapons. Especially since the weapons in the backpack-biped permutations are the classic weapons.

This is also why I don't release things to the public very often, because I hate seeing hard work (not just mine) shoved into the 14,023,928th BG mod. :/

Also why are you using CMT TSC:E HUD for shields/visor/weapons, but mine for grenades? Looks tacky. At least rip consistently :P

the horrible reach skin you carelessly put on the warthog looks terrible. edit: actually, i'm just going to assume you didn't even do it and you found that garbage halo reach hog tag somewhere and slapped it in, as with the rest of the vehicles, because that ghost looks awfully a lot like shadowlsayer's sub-par halo reach ghost from CE3 2013

nice random halo 3 vehicles with melted plastic shaders, really digging the diversity :)

maybe you should rethink what you're trying to do here. or you maybe you won't, and the only time you'll ever see people playing the map and enjoying themselves for 30 minutes or less is SBB or maybe HMU and then it will just collect dust

Yeah, I already said "I'm working on other biped compatible with backpack weapons" also I'm using your grenades HUD because the cmt one has so many grenades, right now I'm editing the tce's to show only plasma and frag.

Btw. Thank you guys for appreciate my mod ^^

there is a 2 grenade hud. its in the h1 spirit side of the tsce release.

So because it doesn't appeal to you.. he should just give up? Things like this, while nothing you or I may be interested in is still something he put time into, and may not have the same goals or future you may want for something. If people enjoy this for 30 minutes or a few rounds and is discarded, perhaps he will be happy people enjoyed it for a time. What's most important is that he is having fun and learning things while developing it. This is a far more comprehensive project in many ways than most things posted on this forum.

To the OP: Keep on experimenting and learning, everyone takes small steps at first and this is a great project to familiarize yourself with multiple aspects of the game.

These hard edges on the entrance of the tunnel, and the mapping on the left wall, were already ugly 15 years ago. Still, back then were still acceptable; today they are not at all.

Im unsure how adept you are at modelling kinnet but if you want some help I would be happy to do what dodo mentioned and perhaps a little more after Ce3.

Yes, I'm doing my best with this mod, thanks to my failed projects and maps, I've learned a lot aboutt mapping. I'm going to add more scenerry (those with no collision) like more grass. Also I'm going to experiment re-skinning the whole bsp, and see if you still can join a normal server, if it's the case, I'm going to fix these ugly polygons, add new textures ,but with the same bsp collision , right now I'm working with the new backpack weapons.

For god sake, sick of seeing Bloodgulch mods! This day and age any bloodgulch mods should either be updating the BSP close totoday's standards, as any cheap machine these days can run Halo:CE with afew extra triangles than afew years ago.

What you should do (in order for people to feel a need to download this 10,000,000th mod) is remake the mesh in Mudbox/zBrush so it looks a LOT better!

You can still make decent BSPs without a tablet. Im using Mudbox for heightmaps.

IMAO all the map really requires is low mesh smooth iteration.

Perhaps under ground driveways would be cool alternative to off-roading.

You guys realize that he is making mods of classic maps that could still be played on servers that are running classic versions of those maps? Collision and stuff like that must be exactly the same for that.
