So i'm bulding some collection of games for myself, and for every i'm to get the most of avalable content.
So i've got Halo for PC, and recently i found this Halo Custom Edition
with this annotation:
This is a new version of HaloPC that is free for all HaloPC owners (you must have a valid Halo cd key). This unsupported version of HaloPC is a stand alone Gearbox Software release and is not supported by Microsoft. HaloCE was created as a way for Gearbox to introduce a bunch of new features to HaloPC. The most important of which is the ability to play user created content through a set of tools, tutorials and source art which is called the Halo Editing Kit (HEK). This is a powerful package which will allow users to create their own custom content for HaloCE. There are also new features, improvements, and capabilities such as "Fast Shaders" (improves performance up to 60% on pixel shader hardware), improved network code (reduces the incidence of player "warping"), and lots of new features that provide options for players to improve their multiplayer games.
For me it's sound like full version on halo pc with updated shaders and some other things. But when i installed this one, entered my cd-key and cd with original halo i only saw multiplayer option. How can i understand this?
