I've used tool a lot with other stuff, but the first time I've ever tried the model command it seems dead. it says the usual "Couldn't read map file './toolbeta.map'" but then that's it. I even tried tool++ but nothing as well. Any ideas anyone?

This is the command I'm doing : tool model vehicles\testcar\models

the testcar.jms is in the models folder.

LOD cut offs or Level Of Detail cut off's are permutations which differ by vertex count based off of your original model. They serve primarily to provide smooth rendering from a sizeable distance by being slightly or severely less detailed than your original model.

they need to modify this engine.
