hello -_-

for my custom maps server, i have put some TLMP maps.
most of the time they crash the server while having a really good game!
(not just players exception error, but the server too!)

does anyone have any idea why this is happening?! or a way to stop it?

for now these maps crashed while im playing!

for some reason halo ce crashes a lot when you play protected maps :/

CMT_G3_MouseTrap map is the only other protected map i have in the server for now besides tlmp maps. haven't had any issues with it though. myabe 'not yet' idk.

isn't there any clue for the error more specifically? like the exact reason. like the exception occurs at player spawns or something...
which can be fixed with sapp/lua

why not find the same map put the tags you want on the map, compile and done ? (or ask someone else to do it, is really easy)

Most of the TLMP maps are custom, some are revamped. There are unprotected versions that have little to no difference from the released versions, and they were up on Inferno's FTP for a long while. They might still be too actually

yeah they crash for me two

could be the tag set?, or they used hacks some do

Weren't the TLMP maps released unprotected? I still have the Beta versions, but you wouldn't want those as they are... Well... Beta (and therefore unfinished.)

i think, it's not, because i play much with h2 maps jesse pack like ascension, ivory tower etc... i never get crash even when i play gamenight with my mates and other players, it's still ok. even with sapp script. i think, the author of TLMP didn't fix this map completely

Beta maps were the unprotected ones, and I don't think they were changed much at all from then onwards. The tag values might have changed a bit but the BSPs remained the same.

I ripped a BSP from a several tlmp maps to play with using deathstar. It should be less than an hour of work to recompile with classic tags. Their "rebalance" was meh anyway.

There were small UV changes, but nothing really major.
