Touching the bsp results in new errors every time. Also I would need to redo lightmaps for all 3 bsps and stuff, it's just too much effort.

meh. it has nothing to do with blender and more with team dynamics. i was dragging my feet on learning uv unwraps and my team members were carrying too much of a load. everone needed a break for about a month or so so now we are massively behind schedule. we would be even worse if i used max. the workflow between max and blender is great, i can export straight to fbx and the scale, materials, uvs and other goodies keep. whats a bummer is that i cant export rigged objects which sucks cause i love blenders rigging/animating system.

the other issue is that we are aiming for halo reach model quality (probably gonna have to demote ourselves to halo 3) in our level design so we seriously underestimated the amount of time it takes to complete a level (considering its just me doing an entire level and all the instance geometry. :P)

the stuff you guys saw last year was ridiculously wip and tbh should never have been shown in a trailer. both those maps have been gone over again, we made big changes in the project structure. we are now collaborating with multiple teams to make for a better multiplayer experience.

To clarify, you only need to submit your map or tag file by tomorrow (August 2nd) if you are NOT making a video presentation. If you are making a video and submitting your map/tag to be released, you can wait until the video deadline (August 6th).

I told you, after my laptop died 2 years ago it's been a pain and a struggle to keep doing this after loosing all my files, tags and models. Which is why a lot of crap got released without been finish, at least from my part. :<

I do however plan on releasing a small map with Halo 3 tags before December. (With a ship on the sky)
