Hey! I think I asked this question a long time ago but I cant find the thread.

I was just wondering what happened to that Halo 2 campaign mod for Halo CE that was planned a while back.

How far did it get? Did any of the maps get partially ported over?

Far as we know they did like a part of Delta Halo. Couldn't figure out pathfinding or something and scrapped it.

Having AI that didnt walk, only dodged was fine for the AI standing on it (Of course, I could make them able to walk around, but they might be idiots and dive off the side if I did that)

Also had a Phantom that flew beside it, that spirals into the sea after you destroy it.

Why not make the gondola still and the rest of the scenario move? The elevator/submarine can also be replaced by cinematic(Ätowers level)

Too bad H2SPP never came to life, I guess represented a lot of hard work but it could have been something just as big as SPv3, just like the Sierra 117 port and Sector 09, it'll go in the graveyard of cool unfinished projects :'(

ehh, I'm on holiday for now, so aside from a few side projects and an ios app i'm working on I've got nothing better to do, I think I'll try to resurrect this. was hoping for a port of Cairo station, but delta halo should be good to try. I think gondolas might work as a sideways lift.

Aftef the final ce3 I hope that more HMU'S are pushed out to restore balance.

So long as matt is able and that people start making more maps and not coagulation mods.....

We put out as many HMUs as needed atm. It just depends on the amount of maps submitted

can I get the 3DS file for this, I need to redo the fugly ass shaders, but theres a radiosity error occurring that I can't fix on account of not having the model

The way I see it is that its Matt's project and therefore its entirely up to him when a: he releases it and b: who tests it. sure it might take a while, but I'm 90% certain that it will eventually be completed. And when it is all finished then we are able to enjoy it. as someone who does a lot of beta testing I know for a fact that its a chore. It starts off fun, but in the end its just a repetitious time consumer.
