Hello. I have a Dell Inspiron i7559-763BLK. It packs the intel i7 2.3Ghz processor, 8GB of ram, and a GTX 960M 4GB video card. For some reason, this game does not want to comply with my computer. Every time i go to play either campain or multiplayer, there is a stretched out black polygon connected to the chief and goes towards the sky. I don't know if it is the graphics card, but I tried to switch to built in graphics and it still did not work. I tried everything I could think of, but I still can't get it to work. Can someone help me please? Thanks in advance.

Install the latest NVIDIA drivers, that usually fixes that type of problem.

A friend of mine had this problem and it was due to outdated Intel Integrated GPU drivers. I think he had the 530 model but the same solution should apply to the 520.

Note that Dell might have their own version of the driver. To install the generic Intel version, you will need to disable Driver Signature Enforcement (a boot option in Windows 10, or simply a check box or something in Win 7/8). You'll get a warning that there might be manufacturer-specific drivers for your model, but you can ignore.

When we put in a support ticket with Dell to tell them about the new update (in hopes that they would update their own version of the driver), we were pleasantly surprised to find that they responded quickly with some questions, so it might be worth flagging them if the generic drivers work for you.

I have the same issue and have some screenshots of it:

Some polygons are missing (warthog wheels, pieces of the AR and plasma rifle, pieces of the rocket launcher) and all player models seem to be emitting some lines.

This is CE running on my windows 10 laptop with an m3 processor and "Integrated Intel HD Graphics 515".

Tried editing the config file and adding the suggested switches, but nothing changed.

Any advice?

edit: I guess I can't post images as a new member

Do you know if you are using your integrated graphics card to run Halo?
If you have a video card you should be using that.
If you have an NVIDIA card you can enter program settings and select your preferred graphics processor.
