I know you can rip the sounds with Mr. Mowhawk, But thats incredibally slow, being only one sound can bex extracted at a time, and that is terribly un-productive. Any way to to Mass- Extractions? Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance! :D

Just extract them from the Xbox, aside from the HD hud and some uncompressed textures, everything seems to be the same. Mr. Mowhawk its outdated and buggy (at least my version).

Thanks to everyone for the replies! How can I extract it besides Mr. Mowhawk? Programs to recommend?

You guys are idiots. There is no difference in the sounds or quality between H2V and H2X. If you want sounds, find a copy of Ambience and rip them from Xbox version. Formats dont matter at all since you can compile sound tags through CE Tool or use the rips directly for whatever you want.

Sound ripping has been around for what? 12 years now? Next time do a little more than 2 seconds searching the web.

Thanks for the reply! A little bit dramatic but nonetheless helpful.

(Btw when I originally posted this topic, I spent well over 2 and a half hours searching on Google and trying lots of programs.)

I couldn't find it on that page, I joined the discord, my name on there is Blaze Modz. If you could send it that'd be great :)

If you use refinery and switch it to resource/data extraction it can extract sounds from halo 2 vista maps.

I just record halo 2, then pull the sounds out of my sound clips.

Does anyone know of a program like Ambience that lets one extract/export audio files from Halo 3 map files? I tried Adjutant, but it doesn't show all the sound tags, nor can it export all the ones it can show.

Is there a better program like Ambience, that can read/export all the different sound files from Halo 3 map files?
