To unlock the animations and physics at your refreshrate, fallow these steps.

Change your Settings to run halo on VSINC



Download and run cheat engine, open halo in cheat engine and then enable speed hack and change the values to 30fps/refreshrate. (example) 30fps/75hertz.



Cheat engine link: http://www.cheatengine.org/downloads.php

After this load a singleplayer map,then type game_speed refreshrate/30fps. in my case 75hertz/30fps in the console game_speed 2.5.



i'm planning to make a program that unlocks the animations and physics.

So basically you make the game run slower and then make the game run at the same speed again? What does that change?

It actually does make some sense... its how the current way of doing it works by slowing everything down to happen at half speed. I mean at game speed 2 the game does update every 1/60th of a second.

The craziest about this thing working would be it comes from Halo Minotaur.


Edit: Tried and it doesn't seem to do anything as expected.

So, you are slowing it down and speeding it up. that doesn't get you more frames to work with.

This actually causes instability. It might have made sense in your head, but it doesn't translate into reality. Yes, 60fps animations are possible in CE, but this is not the way.
