Every time I open Sapien it is all white with the tool windows and then it crashes. I have searched through various topics on how to solve this yet nothing works. A few weeks ago I fixed Sapien on my own somehow but I forgot after reinstalling Halo. Before anyone asks I am running windows 7, I have disabled desktop composition. I think it is something to do with hek+ extracting.

Edit:

I have attempted to yet I get the same results. I have also cleaned out my tags/data and reinstalled hek. Also could someone tell me how to re-rip tags as I may be doing it incorrectly.

This really isn't all that geared towards the in's and out's of ripping, but I'm sure there is a brief overview.

This tag "tags\levels\test\timberland\timberland.bitmap" is corrupt. I'd recommend getting a new copy of your tagset from here http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=6690

Also make sure Halo is looking in its root directory for tags. If Halo is installed to the program files folder, then you might need to run the tools as administrator.
