Ok so this is my new account "Sargent 0" derived from GirtheDoge. I've decided to continue modding CE because I want to buy something more reliable than an rgh xbox. I am working on a unique vanilla Halo ce tagset, in which every single character in the game is able to shoot any weapon. For example, you see a bunch of grunts holding energy swords or whatever weapon they don't normally shoot. I'll post videos on youtube for updates; this is going to be my first mod. anyways back on topic,(Btw im using this guys bug-free vanilla tags http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=6690) I open vanilla a30 in sapien and it doesnt load for some reason(I have all the vanilla singleplayer maps) it crashes. when i try to open the game right after a30 crashes in sapien, halo says that it failes to find the bitmaps,loc,sound files. heres the debug

I'm not familiar with the bug free tags.

Try using the program Refinery (on the general Halo CE forum). It extracts maps nearly perfect. Go ahead and use that to extract whatever campaign map you want.

Ok so I extracted every vanilla campaign map through refinery perfectly. I wanted to open up tutorial(from this guy http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=2096 i didnt have mine in my test folder for some reason) map that came with hek and sapien still crashes heres the crash report from os_sapien

The HEK comes with a folder of tags that are used ONLY for the editor and are not used in maps. This is ui/editor folder. I have uploaded a copy of mine to my dropbox. Here ya go.
