what Matt said

Haven't used 2019 yet but I used 2017 and 2018. I couldn't tell the difference between either tbh \_(ツ)_/

Been rocking 2017 since I started. Woohoo student emails. I have 8 years worth of free stuff unless I can reuse one.

Yup, It's like working with insufferable neurotics

Compared to the releases before it, this version didn't really bring anything new to the table that can't already be done through maxscripts or plugins

----------------------

I still use 3dsmax5 for most other things and just as a self-imposed challenge to ssee how far I can push it. It helps that you can turn every PC in the house into a renderfarm through raysat.

Blender is just..... mmm... Damn. It's a great little tool for making the more complicated stuff like hand-painted cubemaps and other data'esque textures. But at this rate, I'll never learn how to model with it. I just use it to load FBX files for texture painting. It even loads krita animations !
