There's a FAQ on the main page. I suggest you look at it.
edit: Oh, look at that: Before you ask how to edit or make maps - read this Edited by Tiel on Jun 17, 2013 at 01:58 PM
Screw it, I don't feel like arguing. Feel free to bash the custom maps all you want, xnx. Edited by Tiel on Jun 16, 2013 at 08:48 AM
here's a nice article
tbh I'd rather be here than modacity where everyone seems to have a pole up their rectums.

No, he wasn't.
Time being = never, in most cases. The thing with these coding projects is that oftentimes the creator finishes everything they deem necessary and figures it complete, and thus can't find the motivation to return to it and add the cellulite.
Just staying on the safe side. You'd have posted the same thing if I'd said the opposite, I imagine.
He specified he didn't have any intentions of coding AI.
Clearly the future lies in the Wii U.
Happy birthday.
Here's a gif from circa 2003 for your present.

I would've gotten you one of those new Xbox Ones but I'm told you're not into that sort of thing. Edited by Tiel on Jun 12, 2013 at 12:11 AM
das ist meine leiblingsfrauline eh?
The camera thing has me. The day anyone accepts some company staring at them (exaggeration, not like some employee's looking at it 24/7) whenever you turn on the console is the day we take the first step towards 1984.

The online check and camera were an extremely dumb move by Microsoft. Edited by Tiel on Jun 11, 2013 at 11:36 PM
My point is my view here correlates with what suits me. And right now what suits me is getting my hands on a BSP the maker made, asked for help with, protected for no reason, and whom then left without a trace. Don't really care about weapon tags. Just want to stick AI in this thing for happy shoot time.
Then you are clearly a homosexual.
I can understand people wanting to protect their weapon tags to an extent, but just pulling crap like this and 'lol I'm leaving cya' basically means everything about the map is inaccessible.
I don't mean to be self-entitled here, but c'mon. This is stupid. Especially when the creator has to entreat the community for help. Edited by Tiel on Jun 11, 2013 at 10:51 PM

I made a topic about it, but I don't believe I ever expressed my viewpoint on it.
At this point in time, surely everyone can agree that protection on a map this old is ridiculous, right? It's only using stock tags save for some scenery, so the only reason for it is to prevent anyone from modding the map itself, which is contrary to what this site should be about...everyone loses.

On the contrary, it re-enforces my decision never to play a Halo game developed by 343i. THIS was an epic trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9z36WDj2PcUwhile this is a lame trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bhMU_FCjFs4I understand that some people enjoyed Halo 4 but lets face the facts: 343i took the most beloved frachise in all of gaming and replaced all the things we knew and loved with lame, lazy, poorly imagined crap. The new theme song might as well be white noise in comparison with the original, MCs new armor looks totally rediculous, MC and Cortana's "relationship" was on the verge of being soap opera material, and the prometheans were just stupid. (anyone want to know my theory for why the prometheans limbs are floating like that instead of being attached in a believable fasion? Because rigging and animating joints is time consuming... stiff floating objects are easy.) Okay... sry about that. I'm done now.... I apologize if any fans of the game felt insulted by that, I just tend to get angry when people ruin things I care about. Ironic, considering when you go onto the wiki page for Halo 1-3, it's defined as a Sci-fi opera. It's supposed to be dramatic. Also, the robe's sole purpose was to shroud him from the viewer, not from the Bird.. Thing. If it truly meant harm to him, Why would chief hold up Cortana's chip to it? He obviously sought it out to repair the chip and to locate Cortana. They could've taken off Master Chief's helmet but if they did, they would've taken away the mysterious element of the game. That's why It's always teased but never happens. It's hinted in Halo 3 that he's lost his hair and again in Halo 4 when his age is emphasized. Would you have recognized a bald, freckle-faced man in a robe when the description for John 117 in the books was a young man with red hair? That's why he still has his helmet. Speaking of that, the helmet is broken. There's fractures within the shielding of the helmet. The shields are probably broken beyond repair now. The helmet also has a visor to block the sun rays out. If the shielding of the helmet is knocked out, it's not too farfetched to say the sun visor was as well. That would be the reasoning behind him wearing the robe over his helmet. Bungie long ruined the Halo series with Halo 3's blatant discontinuity. Edited by AllySuzumiya on Jun 11, 2013 at 11:13 AM Thank you! Never mind the BS with the books written after H3 when Bungie was still in charge.
Any books after H3 were made by 343i's mandate.
Because Windows 8 and Windows RT (phone version) operate on almost the exact same architecture. Compatibility is more of an unexpected surprise than a desired result for M$
"Prior to its announcement, Halo: Spartan Assault was code-named Halo: Bootcamp."
