hey guys, well thanks for all the help, you guys are awesome:)

well heres my problem, im making a ``somehow´´ firefight map, what i mean is not that im making waves and waves of enemies, nor those kind of things, but what im making is a map, where you grab a lot of weapons go through a teleporter and enter a massacre for 10 minutes, full of AI, but what i want you to help me with, is that i want you to tell me, what script should i use to make a checkpoint for every 5 minutes (note that im new to script and the only thing i know is that its a wordpad file with an extension of .hsc), and also make a timer, that counts the time youre up in the part of the masacre,and when the timer hits down cero or it counts until ten minutes, the game is over, and probably tells you how many have you killed and those kind of things, but thats optional.
so i think this is possible and not to complicated, so if you guys can help me out
and also tell me if this map can only be for single player or multiplayer

yeah ok thanks dude, but one thing, in the wasp_mp.vehicle opened with guerilla, how do i change it to the cyborg animation (yes it indeed came with one)

ok thanks but i already solve the problem, but hey if you could help me with something, theres a vehicle i want to put, the wasp i already done it, change the globals etc, but when i try to ride it (when the maps already compile) i cant hop on and it doesnt say ``press e to enter (wasp)`` i know i might be missing some animations, how do i get them, and how do i put them

hey guys i have a doubt, ive downloaded a c4 tag(9.9 bomb) and its all cool, i created the .item_collection and add it via sapien, its all ok compile ok, when i go to the map, i see it the c4 but when i approach i cant grab it nor pick it up, ive heard theres no animation for it, but how do i get this animation and how do i insert it (please help i dont know how to do it). and also one thing someone said that it has to be a secondary weapon, but i want to pick it up from the floor not to start with it, it becomes boring. THERE IS A WAY, theres a map called yoyomod2 that doesnt have the c4 as secondary and still i can pick it up from the floor

hi guys, well heres my problem, i created a map and included a c4 in it (i created the .item_collection) and i put it in sapien i compile its ok
i open halo go to where the c4 is and its there but icant pick it up i cant grab it with e NOTHING
some help please

yeah ok
but one question
if i change those globals how does it affect my online multiplayer: lets say i eliminate a ghost and a banshee and put a wasp and a hornet instead
in online game do i still see those kind of things i mean the ghost and the bnashee or what? does it crash? or does it only affect the maps i create?


hey guys im having the following problem, i have the hornet extracted from a map and also the wasp.
i have a problem because i add them in sapien, and they can be seen and when i finally make the final compilation they dont show up in the map, ive heard something in other post something about globals.globals and things like that, if you could explain because i dont understand that thing of globals etc..

hello people, well my doubt is if i can add scenery in the sky (i have seen in some maps thereefore i think its possible) i mean how do i add scenery not depending on what the structure of the map was, because you can only add things following the guidline of the floor or walls, so please cans someone tell?

Hi people, well if someone can help out heres my issue:

ive downloaded a good quantity of vehicles from halomaps but i got an error when i try to add them (im following yayaps tut anyways) it says: Not all selected could be added to the palette:you selected one or more files that couldnt be loaded correctly. Contact your nearest Bungie programmer for assistance.

well i dont know how to do anything else only to add things and place them, in a post ive seeing that has i think almost the same problem thay talk something about globals.globals and i dont know nothing about that, so... some help please?...

well ok first of ill like to thank all to the user members that help out every time that someone is in need:) (youre the best guys).

But well, heres my problem: i have download the c4 tag from here (http://halo2.filefront.com/file/C4_Tagset;59310)

and well, i want to add it via sapien (yes i know how to) but when i download it and unrar it, it makes the following: a c4 folder inside it there are two folders named c4 data and c4 tags
Inside C4 data: another c4 folder and then inside it there are the following folders:
-bitmaps
-explosions
-fp
-models
-physics
-sounds

Inside C4 TAGS: another c4 folder and then inside it:
-FOLDERS:bitmaps, explosion, shader and sounds.
-and some loose archives: c4.gbxmodel, c4.model_collision_geometry, c4.projectile, c4.weapon, c4_99.projectile and expiredc4.projectile

ok so my doubts are the following:
-How do i get the .item_collection
-and how do i reorganize the folder so that it doesnt give me errors when doing the final compilation with CMD


i may suggest (i think im wrong but please correct me, i think i might be able to extract the c4.item_collection from coldsnap) but anyway tell me if it can be done or not.


ONE MORE THING, THE MAP IS ONLY FOR ME AND SOME FRIENDS, IN ANY CASE I UPLOAD IT, THE RESPECTIVE CREDIT FOR THE WEAPON WILL BE GIVEN.


hey people, i would like some help here, i created my small map, but it weights 35 mb, i tried by removing some vehicles but nothing, it weighted the same, it has like 20 weapons in the whole map, i really dont think its the number of weapons since i have seen maps, that have same amount of weapons, bigger map, and weight even less, so if you could help me out please?

Well hello hce maps and i will like to thank all the people that helped me out with map making (Thanks ally, you're awesome dude) but i can only play the map i made, with a custom made game(with an edited game type)
if i play it with the default slayer or ctf, it says gathering exception data, i will like to know why does this happens, and why doesn't gathering exception data appears when i create a game with an edited game type in that map?

any help will be appreciated

DUDE IVE REDONE IT AND AS I DID BEFORE I PUTTED ON EVERYTHING THAT THE TUTORIAL SAID ME TO PUT THE NAME OF THE MATERIAL THE NAME OF THE BITMAP, but nothing, still got the same message, what can i do know, im tired of making the map again again and again please help meeeeeeeeeeeee!

well i did again my map, and got to this point that doesnt need to happen(in yayap the grunt tutorial doesnt happend) i have finished until making the shaders folder and when i type this in the cmd (note:prueba is the name of the map):

tool structure levels\prueba prueba

this pops out:

and that should not pop out, it should inmediately make the compiling, but it didnt.
