I'm trying to define the point of where the Primary and Secondary detail bitmaps come into my groundmap shader and i heard that you have to use alphas to define it.
Alright I know i'm probably doing something wrong, I created the groundmap and the alpha to go along with it, and put them in different layers in photoshop. I then clicked save as... and saved it as a .tif and then compiled the bitmaps. I then made it compress with interpolated alpha and recompiled and the alpha still isn't showing up.
Alright I downloaded photoshop, and made my alpha, now where do I go to export it with its alpha.
I was just wondering what the best program would be to export a bitmap with alpha, because I can't really find anything in GIMP and I wanted to know if anybody knew of any other alternatives. Edited by Juiceb0xhero on May 3, 2013 at 07:28 PM

Thanks guys i fixed it, all i did was convert it to editable mesh, i must have forgotten to do that when i exported. :)

Yea man, I just went in 3ds and flipped the magazine inwards and it still doesn't show up ingame, i also tried two-sided and collapsing the modifiers but the model is still really sketchy.
Yep, all the normals are facing outward.
Hey, can you guys help me. I just got done following Yoda's weapon tutorial for the UMP 45 and when I imported it into halo it came out looking like this. Do you guys know what the problem is?
