So it turns out it was just my Nividia card that was just going haywire on me, problems with the 3D application. But thanks for the added info Flanker. :D

So my friend this morning was using my comp while I was asleep and got some updates for my computer (without my consent mind you), he said it was an update for my GPU. But now I just opened Sapien & Halo for the first time afterwards, The game window in Sapien is entirely black and can't see a god damn thing. Secondly when starting up Halo I can see the Logo screen and then my screen just continuously flickers black.

I'm thinking it's a resolution problem but i'm not sure.
I was making good progress on a map too and now this happens.

ahh yes, Thank you Kirby works wonderfully now.
I'm pretty sure I was thinking that I had to specify what map/scenario the scripts were tied to.
In this case the scenario named "test"
(First time scripting so everything is a new learning experience.)

So, i'm starting to practice with Scripts so I can make better content and get back into Halo mapping again, but i'm coming across a problem that is really frustrating me.

So in this example i'm using deathisland with a new scenario simply named "test.sceanrio" I've read that when you make scripts they are to go in your "data" folder, not in the "mapname" folder where your tags are.
Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\tags\levels\test\deathisland -Where the scenario is.

However I did not have a "data" folder so I just made one and my script is located in there as follows.
Halo Custom Edition\data\levels\test\deathisland\test\scripts

So I wanted to test to make sure that Sapien knows where my scripts is and or is reading them. So I opened the ".hsc" file and proceeded to type just "test" because I know Spaien would have told me that it wasn't a script. I saved, went back into Sapien and "Compiled Scripts" which it should have told me something like test isn't a script or w/e.
But it just says "Scripts successfully compiled" even though "test" is not a script.

If someone could help me solve this issue i'd be most grateful, it may just be something right in front of me per say and i'm just dumb. But i'd really like to get this sorted out, So I can make a good n proper SP map.

Releasing what was actually done at least would be a step in the right direction. Someone else could possibly pick it up. Unlikely perhaps, but still a good idea.

It is a real damn shame this project was thrown under a bus, I followed even the old thread [WIP][56k]Inferi Redivivus back in the day when this was still young. There was true art and talent in this project. Now it's all been wasted :'C

I have a Leman russ but it's being painted currently, after that I'll be painting my Lord Commissar. so it wasn't in pic, but with everything I have i've crushed my friends Necrons and his Tyranids. So come at me with your puny fragile Eldar lol.

(I've got a solid list that i'm confident in)

Just kinda throwing it out there, is it possible for this to be done? was thinking about recoloring marines giving them Imperial Guard colors and having them wield lasguns.

I mean it could be possible that if the tagset was released maybe another team of modders could do it, but with the dying community it's very unlikely. Plus even if I had to choose someone I still wouldn't know. Even if the series wasn't rebooted the tags are absolutely just fantastic!

I don't think a sequel will ever happen . I could try to ask lone about the bsp sections he made but not much will happen.
It's also always a lot of work and you can hardly swap to the stock tagset as everything is made to fit the flood, which is also annoying for me to work with.


Truly a pity. However if you guys have no plans to continue it why not release the tagset so others can use the tags. No sense letting them sit in your guy's folder and collect virtual dust. You guys did put a lot of work into making something unique. Sad to see this project go though :C RIP
