all right, i reinstalled halo ce into program files, and now sapien works. I tested it on death island.
Now, however, how do i add the "heavy scorpion" tags i downloaded into a map.
also, i made a map called overload, do i just extract those tags to the same place?

btw, some of my tags were corrupted, so i deleted all the files in that folder, and reextracted the timberland map. Edited by nmesoviet on Dec 17, 2011 at 04:53 PM
It just stops extracting when i reahc the bitmap. I click extrac all, and the text at the bottom says
levels\test\icyfields\icyfields.bitmap
and it never extracts this happens for all maps
when i try to extract all the files, this pops up:

btw i did this to bloodgulch, but pressed continue, and apparently all tags did not extract
Ok, i did that, and in HEK, it said tags extracted. Now when i try to open in sapien, it stays open much longer (although frozen) and closes. here is the new error code:

thanks for are your help. My ultimate goal is to take tags, such as heavy scorpion tags, and put them into bloodgulch or a campaign level as vehicles. Is Sapien the right program, and am i going about it right?
btw, someone said i might have a problem with my globals? if that makes sense to you.

Maybe i should clarify: I am a beginning user, and this is what i did. Downloaded halo CE, and HEK/toolkit. I open up HEK, open map infinity, go to levels, and extract the scenario. Then, i paste it into tags folder. I try to open it up in Sapien, but it freezes.
Is there anything i should do? anything im doing wrong? also, if i need to extract all the tags, where do i put, thanks!

Ok, so when I try to open tutorial scenario, it works. When I try opening something else, it freezes and closes. I have tried the set affinity for cpu 0, cpu1, and both, that doesn't work. Here is the error code, one for bloodgulch, one for infinity:
