Manufactuer: TOSHIBA!!! (fun to say)

Proccessor: Intel core I5

RAM: 4GB (gonna upgrade)

Motherboard: how would i know, it's a laptop (stock toshiba thingo?)

OS: windows 8 (I RULE!!)

GPU: 1.5GB something-rather.

speakers: apple earphones and build in toshiba laptop speakers.

Mouse: MC wireless bluelight thing.

Keyboard: Laptop thing.

monitors: laptop screen... big enough. and Ipad screen (used as monitor)

ANTIVIRUS: norton 360 90 day trial (came with laptop) (epires in 6 days) + AVG + Norton 360 3 years.

HDD:
internal: 933GB HDD.
External: 1.2GB HDD.
EXTERNAL: 32GB SSD. (dont use it)

Foundry FPS... never played it.. should do that... one day.

2 ways of doing this that I found, good way first (which is the way it will be when it's done).

1.

2 vehicles joined together. one with (theoretically) no geometry, the other being the ghosty. the ghost is modified to have 2 seats in the same spot (one being unsit-in-able), that unsit-in-able has no entry animation (practically). An invisible control pannel attaches and detaches constantly. when that control is triggered, the 2nd (invisible vehicle) detaches for 3 ticks, enough time for the player to be "loaded" into the vehicle (which has the boarding animations). the vehicle re-attaches. the driver exits, the vehicle detaches again for 6 ticks, the player exits, then gets "loaded" into the unsit-in-able seat. vehicle 2 attaches again. all good (unless I missed something, as this is off the top of meh krayniyum). when the player exits the unsit-in-able seat, he/she/it can re-enter via the normal way (with the normal animations).

2. the way in the video, I screwed UP!!!

You don't need to do it this way. Just use a global timer, that slowly recharges like it does in Reach... Same way I did it with the jetpack and how Sean did it with the armour lock.

The way you put it out is just confusing.

But it involves 4 vehicles (left wing, right wing, cockpit, tail) that are all attached to one longsword. And when it breaks, the longsword dissapearing and the pieces have nothing to support then and fall apart.

Also...

That script is incomplete. It is referring to globals which are non-existant (sorry for not-so-simple explainations and stuff, you said you have little scripting experience)

Other than that... That script could nearly work... Where did you find it?

Via scripting is my way. I don't know how to use functions yet.

Ever since I read through SeantheLawn's armour lock script, I have been thinking out of the box for the rest of the Halo reach power ups (without OS), so far I have made...
-jetpack (FP and 3P) (needs perfecting) - anyone got Hr spartan with jetpack biped? Or hr jetpack textures?
-Invisibility. (Needs perfecting)
-Drop shield works the same way as invisibility.

I started sprint just last night, worked on it for 5 minutes... Tagged it all, ill script it all later, then showcase all of the Hr stuffs on mah youtube channel to make me not sound so uppity.... Which I do a lot XD

Imma purdy sure that its not the .NET functions... I had NET 11 on my windows 7, 3ds max worked fine. On my new windows 8 laptop I have NET 11, max no worky.... I just thought it was a CD key error... Same reason I can't use OS on windows 8 and halo campaign on windows 8... So I had to go fishing in my old files to get ye ol' 1.00 CE with version changer to play.

But it doesn't really fuss me much... I just can't use OS and I use Gmax anyways. :P

Every map every game type does it. It used to run perfectly, but I updated it, fixing a biped issue and now it won't work on ANY MP map on ANY game type D:

Every custom mp map crashes without loading.... Even my old ones.

my SP project runs fine thoug... So wtf?
