(that pretty much eliminates half of your suggestions)
Turrets: No no. turrets will, as previously mentioned, cause camping in bases.
Rocket Launchers: probably not going to implement those either, we've already got the laser (although we MIGHT put one in)
Mines: I think it sounds good, have to ask altis though.
Most of the new vehicles:
Tanks (Rhino, etc.): we've already got scorpions. and that's more than enough, especially with the camping issue where 2 people (not mentioning any names, but you know who you are from my screaming at you to stop. literally, you accumulated 30 kills just spawn camping.) take tanks, and camp.
Fighter Jets and stuff:
It would be better on a bigger map, (even though hugeass is pretty big) because well they're pretty fast, and if it's kind of like those jets you see in extinction and stuff, people can do CTF WAY faster than normal.
Dropships (pelican, etc.)
I agree we do need more air vehicles, but the pelican and the darter (albatross variation lol) are probs too clumsy and big to fit rightwise on this map. (and aren't darters for carrying supplies, not people?)
I, personally, have dreamed of having battle mechs (like the mantis and such) implemented into halo, like a million times. If this were to come true, I would be so happy. Alas, this is not to be though. I have asked several other map makers to try to make these, and they haven't been that succesful (go search up c-v-m version 5 i think.) the mechs just end up having wheels/treads for legs, and are extremely big and slow. :(
(they were used during the insurrection to detect explosives that innies put down like in vehicles and blow them up. an ARGUS is also a explosives compound detector.)
oh yeah and the extra armor suits and stuff (cyclops, etc.)

- The current version of OpenSauce does not fix the map polygon issues. Only HAC2 seems to fix this.
- The gauss sniper. I don't know where to begin with suggestions for this thing, but I suppose I'll start by explaining it's true canonical operation in detail, since it obviously does not work in that manner. The M99 Special Application Scoped Rifle (SASR), also known as the Stanchion, M99 Stanchion Gauss rifle, or just Gauss Rifle, was a UNSC anti-matériel rifle. It fired a 5.4mm/.21 caliber round, which was most likely composed of a ferric-tungsten compound since it is propelled by the method of linear induction, as with other standard MAC-type rounds, and was propelled with a muzzle velocity of 15,000 meters per-second (mps), and supposedly had a muzzle energy of 30,575 Joules, which means it was moving VERY fast when it exited the barrel, and had an effective killing range of 4.5 kilometers (which means it really wouldn't have any kind of bullet drop that is present in the current build, if at all). Canonically, the magazine capacity of the M99 was 10 rounds, but since you are using ImBrokeRU's model, you can just keep it at 4 rounds, and have a reserve of 8. Also, there should definitely be a charging mechanism on the gauss like the one that is featured in the novel Halo: Contact Harvest, plus, Broke added a charging meter to his gauss rifle because he originally intended for it to be used on the rifle, so implementing the charging shouldn't be that hard.
- The FP hands. I mentioned this problem earlier to you while you were in the server, where I told you that the model was far too big for it's rig, and I was right; if you take a look at the reload animation with the gauss sniper with the current reach FP rig, you'll see that certain parts of the model clip through the gun itself, like the magazine compartment and such. If possible, I would very much like to see this fixed by perhaps utilizing a different FP rig, or another FP model; one that isn't oversized for it's own rig, however.

Okay, those facts are good to know.
But if you hadn't noticed, this map is just using custom built weapons, not based off real ones (Okay, AR and stuff)
the Gauss rifle doesn't have to be based off the Stanchion. Altis built it that way cause he wanted it to be (honestly, I have a similar version that instead fires explosive rounds)
And this is a GAME. Not everything has to be realistic. Okay, the MA5K isn't the same as the one Halopedia describes. Who cares. It's an MA5K, but it could be slightly different. There could be a lot of variations of the same gun with different functions, or different firing rates or such.

I agree with what most people are saying about the sniper (you could tell from my in-game rants lol)
the sniper is a very bad starter weapon.
Literally, you will have 2-3 people just camping in the hills around a base, picking people off as they spawn, get in a vehicle (mongoose for example. I died 16 times from mongoose snipes. I counted)
When me and bourrin (or maybe just bourrin, seeing if I have enough time to texture it) finish the BR and the DMR, hope you'll put that as the starting weapon, instead of the sniper (before that, maybe put the starting as the AR?)
People were also saying how the spartan laser was weak,
Really depends on what and where you're shooting
If you're shooting the wheel of the truck, you're obviously not going to do much damage
If you're shooting the tail of the falcon you're obviously not going to do much damage
If half the beam missed the target you're obviously not going to do much damage
We need to fix the mines.
Literally, I would place a mine on the ground, and the next second someone will drive a warthog over it, blow off their shields and flip the warthog, while simultaneously killing me.
Also, the concept of a mine is more of sensor, not:
MY WHEEL ROLLED OVER THE MINE SO IT EXPLODED AND I KILLED MYSELF
OH NO THE MINE DIDN'T BLOW THE GUY UP BECAUSE HE DIDN'T ROLL HIS WHEEL OVER IT.
Also, maybe a friendly fire kind of thing? friendly mines won't detonate on friendly people?

Just cause it ain't H4 or Reach, doesn't mean it sucks. I agree with custom-ness. Custom weapons (as long as they're not extremely op) are pretty good, like the camo ar.
Overall, Amazing. 9/0 (a lot better than what most other HCE map makers make. no offence to you guys out there. At least it's definitely better than any of mine :P)
But, this is what i think.
Now, you personally said that it was an armored truck, so I don't think that ballistic weapons or automatics should be able to do that much damage. Also, half the time we were playing, half the people were saying that the truck windows should be bulletproof. I semi-agree. The sniper should still be able to head shot the driver (well depends on which one) but shouldn't really damage the inside people. If you think about it, why are the passengers (who are completely sealed in an armored compartment) getting hurt when the driver's getting strafed? Ok, when a warthog turret starts hitting the outside and the bullets go through Ok.
What people said about the truck in earlier posts, I disagree. It's supposed to be an armored truck, and you don't see those going down highways zooming at 100 km an hour. The point of it is kind of like an armored tank without a turret.
Mostly though, it's kind of weaponless and needs an escort, so maybe add a gunner seat (you know, with a turret on top, like kind of like a machine gun) and also perhaps a second driver/passenger seat in the front.
