Thank You! its running without crashing!

lol now i can not run radiosity as it replys with a "degeneration of triangle" and "bad uvw map"
or something when radiosity start command is enterd, does this mean some of the map is overlappng?

well if u can make sense of that then....
sometimes it lasts long enought 4 me to possition some of the windows but then it quites

do u get the same thing wreath? for me it does not even show the sky of the map in the window

i have the same problem, iv just finshed yayaps tutorial for making maps on gmax and stuff, up to the point where u must use sapien to populate the map, and about 10 seconds into sapiens startup the program crashes

As a complete beginner in map making, i was wondering...
what is the difference between maps made on 3ds max and gmax? which one is better and are there any advantages of using gmax or 3ds max?
also is there a really good really really easy to follow Gmax tutorial in making maps, i have yayaps tutoral and thats good but some steps i can not follow.

ohh and i also know of another way to jump higher than the tower in one of halo2 expantion pack maps with a RL, overshield and portable shield thing!

(it does work well on halo 2)

Any1 here know of the banshee jump on halo 2? if so does it work on halo ce/pc
1. how to banshee jump!
a. get rocket launcher
b. get banshee and full overshield
c. turn banshee upside down and stand on wing.
d. aim at opposite wing with RL and fire!
(im not shour if this does work on halo 1 at all)
(plz try it out!)
(ohh and you may die from falling from large hights)

They have pelicans which drop hogs on coldsnap however you cant get in them then drop it u have to drop then get out to get in the hog, however what i mean is like when u have a draco
u should be abill to get a hog in it then drive the hog off it when the draco is flying,
also like what i said about the seats, would it be posible to script it so they move around inside to draco or somthing?
i dont know anything about scripting tho so dont look at me for advice, also i have a new idea about a new map with new vehicals.
The idea is that you have a level set in the middle of space with dracos and other large and small space craft which u use to fight the enemy, that way the map is based around space combat

Is it posibile to make it so that the seats can move around then?
like so you can go to a turrent them move to another turrent or something?
and also can u make it so you can put a wart hog in it like in the pelican?

(i mean put it in a hanger or somthing onbourd)

I was wondering is it possible to make a longsword or something so you can walk around inside it while some1 flys it?
because when you are in a longsword and some1 is flying it you cant walk around in it, you just end up fallng out of it or dieing because of the vehicals kill you.

can someone plz help me with this because i cannot seem to get tool to work for me.
is there some other thing i have to do to get it going like download a new 1 or do i need to add a update to it?
when i start it up it comes up with the message:
cannot read toolmap something and then it just closes down.
