Ugh. One of my idoit friends got on my comp and somehow deleted my haloce.exe executable.

Can somebody please send me that file? (I only need the exe).

is it even POSSIBLE to enable devmode in a dedicated server? If so, how do you do that and how to you use it once it is enabled? I've looked all over the internet, but to no avail.

uh lol theres so many mods for halo 1 trail and nearly all have driver controlling the back turret. It isnt as bad as u think.

But there was a problem that the grunts were complete idiots and ignored u till u shot them, and even then, didnt hurt u at all. Maybe thats caused by more than two teams? I have no idea.

I wish I could learn to model like that, but then I'd first have to learn how to model... and well I don't get it.... Those tuts just don't seem to help.



BTW: cause ur making that for CMT, u obviously have connections with them.... So... I think I speak for a lot of CMT fans when I say this: can u ask them to PLZ put the new halo 3 weps for SP2 in a new snowgrove PLZ


ok scratch all ive said. No one is offering to help (cause I'm guessing its too impossible) so I'm going to have to scratch the idea. Anyway, II still wanna to make a map (but one thats easier to make and requires only a few people not an organized squadron xD.)

Basically, this map is gunna borrow a tad from snowgrove, and a map I saw in a preview for halo 3

Its designed so theres lots of different strategies u can use, like snowgrove. Ill have the rough map design with no real colors or textures soon, to test it to see how well u can use strategies on it.

THEN comes the part where i need help (i have no idea how to add textures and crap)

Like I've said already, I dont get my comp that can handle GMAX back until sumtime in January. So it's gunna b ahwile. If u wanna b on my mapping team for this, plz email me at

and include what u can and cannot do for this project. example: u r great at modeling and tagging but suck at animation. Let me know so once I get that comp back, I can sort us all into teams and give us each our "jobs" to do on this. Hopefully by that time I will have a preliminary model of the map we can work off of.

Ok, who here's played area 55? Ok, now who's made it all the way thru? Ok, now how many of u r pissed off?

I wanna fix that. That ending is too lame for words. I spent over two hours one time with a full server of people desperately trying to find the end, but there was none......

I intend to fix that.

Here's the first part I plan to make before the first private beta.

I'm thinking of adding a gravity lift from where the map left off that will shoot the player above the map and then across to a new part Ill b making. It will b the first of many boss encounters the thing ur gunna fight against will b a giant machine that takes up nearly the entire room with a few weak spots ull have to find. kinda like the Hunter hmm. maybe I should use hunter AI on it.... After it dies, a quick audio thingie and thousands of drones come out of nowhere and chase u to where u find some ally Ai (COVENANT????) one with a spartan laser another two wit particle beam rifles the rest with regular guns and a scarab that u will need to pilot thru a big canyon with covie tanks, turrets, warthogs, and a handful of banshees that relentlessly swarm u. After u get thru there, u will dock ur scarab at a raised platform on the cliff wall and go into a big room like the one in the end of area 54 where you learn something.....

I'm not giving THAT away yet.

Some things may change

but some help by starting what i mentioned here would b greatly appreciated.

concept art or even gmax/3ds max models for the huge machine boss would b great too

I loved it except for the nade throwing animations. I suggest just speeding the animation up just a tad, and a giving the arm a little more follow through should make it look right
