... it's the cutscenes and the scripted events that make it crash.
uh it's 3 years old and it's a laptop and it has a 5.9 rating...
nice try though because there is an FPS issue
no, there's too many things going on at once in the map, that's the issue. It's even worse in Downfall.
fix the FPS issue
its only 2.0 support maybe that's it? but that shouldn't botherr it...
really it was yoru controller??? I used a 360 controller just fine...?
do you have wired or wireless?
try limiting Halo ce to 2 cores, see what happens.

if it continues to happen visit this thread and post here, mainly because kornman checks this thread constantly

Did you try running the .map file and using the specific OS features it can use?
-No Open Sauce/.Map version: Basic mod
-Open Sauce/.Map version: Basic mod, normal mapping, phong lighting, postprocessing effects
-Open Sauce/.Yelo version: Basic mod, normal mapping, phong lighting, postprocessing effects, VISR mode, dynamic Battle Rifle behavior, enhanced CMT Extras menu, assorted easter-eggs
Try doing those settings that are in bold, if they work then it's not OS's fault and maybe your laptop was overheating at the time, I've found that when graphic cards get too hot it can hinder the game
(especially in halo2 if your graphcis card over heats it'll have massive fps drops and scenes will loop and loop, then eventually go to a white or black screen, and if you play in windowed mode the window will flash like it's priority then go to background then back to priority)
So I'm still going to believe either your graphics card over heated or you had too many process runnign in the background. Also make sure xfire is closed, IDK why but it doesn't work with OS installed simultaneously
the looping issues sounds like your computer's RAM is being used at 100 percent which means the game is using way more resources at once than your computer can handle. I know that the .yelo file uses more resources than the .map so try it out and compare and see how your computer handles it.
ugh do I really have to google translate this...

lol people still freak out over ripping?
it's going to happen you can do your best to protect it but if someone really wants them they'll get them.
probably you're physical memory was being eaton up at the time? or your cpu percentage was exceeding 100 percent?
Yeah CMT doesn't really do release dates until they are 100 percent certain they will get it out on that date they picked.
I figured you guys might get a kick out of this ;)

yeah it would, but i didn't want to use halo music. And what's up never expected to see someone i knew here lol
think of it this way, in the beginning it was soft orchestra, they were landing to head off to the truth and reconciliation to get their captain back. then the rock starts, and the fighting begins, as song continues you see battles, scenes of entering the ship gaining alias, enemies and foes using tactics to stop you in their way. then finally the song ends and you see keyes and the chief standing while the camera pans up on the chief.
I'd say it's very creative and enjoyable. and instead of the video just showing human vs alien it describes the story of playing that single player level and the purpose of it.

Bad choice in song. Just saying..
Ok, well i based it off of bathroom security's promo back for spv1, and just because you don't like the song doesn't mean it was a bad choice, the video sync's and shows off the mod. and i'm sure you enjoyed watching it.
in the init.txt
