you dont need big daddy to make your map better, people will not play it just for that one playable character, try useing bluestreak to modify the eliete or make your own alien altogeather. simple but fun is key to a good game, but looks only count if its worthwile.


i believe that halo 3 for the pc will happen, it just may take a while before it does and it WILL be for windows vista. bungie messed up when it sold halo, but i think they will make another awesome game. and seperating from microsoft was probably for the best, darn theiving bill gates. . . .
besides Halo Wars, i do not know if another halo will come out for a fact, though i think microsoft would be missing a big oppertunity to make more money (and at the same time make me happier :) ) if they dont create another halo extention.
anyway, halo 3 rocks and halo CE is awesome.

it did not really help, i am useing gmax. and that was for 3ds max.
and i looked for yayap's tut, and could not find that either.

i downloaded halo guru's "gmax tut" and watched it. he made a small base, made a roof, and then stoped. he did not show how to export it/what tools to export it, and did not show how to make the scenery tag. he said to go to his old site, i did. i looked for his video tut for the final build and found it. had to register, and then the site sait only the moderator could view this forum. so i went to his new site, and he did not have any tuts there. so i searched this site again, and nothing, i went to the ghosts tutorial reference page, and most of em are for 3ds max. i also saw another tut here but it was 150 mb, and i cannot download that much(dial up internet sucksssssssssssssss)

does anyone know where a tutorial is for makeing the final build for scenery?????

the part about the lack of the ability to read was a bit uncalled for.
and still, noone has answered my question, is there a BUTTON or SCRIPT that i can APPLY so that the SCENERY that is not attached to the BSP, BLOCK DAMAGE LIKE THE REGULAR BSP.

NO MORE INSULTS, JUST A YES OR NO ANSWER

you misunderstood me, i mean can you make scenery to where explosive damage will not go through the scenery WITHOUT haveing to attatch it to your bsp?

yes, but i am not able to go back there because something happened to my exporters, so i was thinking if there was a random button i could click or a script i could insert that would make my scenery impervious to explosions

i DO use that script (object_create_anew) but i DONT have that 7th vehicle in my globals.
your saying that i just have to add that 7th vehicle to my globals as a new vehicle in the 7th vehicle slot, and they will respawn normally?

i have put vehicles on my map.
my map works fine, all vehicles show up.
when i move a vehicle that i scripted in, it respawns in the location that vehicle1 appeared.
so i took the vehicle out of vehicle 1's name, but kept the spawn point, but now all the vehicles that i scripted move to that spot.
i need a script that tells the vehicles to stay and respawn in the same location.
also, i am just creating a txt document to script. not a program, but i do have halo string list editor v2 incase there is a better way to do this
and sory for the step by step proceed,

i have some experience with maps, buti cant say i will be there all day everyday.
i cant really work with the bsp, but i have some experience with tags and scripts
