open the debug.txt file and paste the latest section of the txt here. Also, did you just try extracting only the scenario file and not anything else because if you did that, it will not work.

or you can copy cmd from C:\WINDOWS\System32\ to your Halo Custom Edition Directory and just type "tool.exe build-cache-file (Location of map inside tags folder)\(your-file-name-here)"


true, so i can make a black map or white map, then make a 100% opaque logo and cover the screen with it?


I want to create a user interface that doesn't move like in some games, is it possible to do that? I've been wanting to get some pictures to replace the UI and i thought of making a scenario with the picture in there and just 1 camera, but then it won't be exact :/, any ideas on this?

Snake told me that He reinstalled HEK but it didn't work, then he reinstalled CE and HEK, but it didn't work. So I don't know.

put your wav file in a folder inside your data folder then use tool and convert the .wav to .sound file,
for example, if i had a wav file named catmanrulez.wav and i put it in "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\data\sound\music\catman", then i would type in cmd: tool.exe sound data\sound\music\catman\catmanrulez ogg 1
by the way, copy cmd.exe from C:\WINDOWS\system32\ and put it in your halo ce root directory for this to work.

uh? no, i ripped from h3mt narrows and it wasnt protected. though im not going to use their tags in a map, im just going to examine it

Go to your biped's .model_collision_geometry and change the health in the body section and the shield health in the shield section. By the way snake, Masterchief only has 75 HP and Shield HP which together equals 150 HP. also, go on xfire man, i never see you on


yea i would also like to know how to do that, Zteam has fp hands with that effect on arms.

go to weapons tag, then scroll down to the projectile section, then open up the projectile tag, then scroll down until you see impact damage, open that tag and change the damage in there

I'm having trouble lately with rigging FP hands because I'm new to rigging. The hand model was longer than MC's and so after I finished putting every bone in place, when I rotate a bone, the hand model either gets squished and thinner or fatter when I rotate it the other way. I tried to reset the Xform, but then the right hand was bigger than the left hand. Was it because I created a left hand model first then mirrored the model for the right hand and then merged both together? Could someone help me rig the hands for me? The hands are for a CS mod for Halo.
