THAT PROBLEM HAS ALREADY BEEN SOLVED!!!! I already said so!
Sheesh... And you're not even right, either...
if people really wanted to be creative, they would be making their own games, rather than making mods ;)
i already said that problem was solved :P
Thanks, but that problem was already solved :P
Ive got a new one now, and i will post it if this next thing i try doesn't work...
Quote: Update your driver Ive downloaded every patch and that is online (that i know isn't a virus) and it is still not working.
As for my graphics card: its fine. HaloCE worked on my old computer, and that was less than a 32MB graphics card, while mine is a 128MB. I now have an nVidia Geforce 8300 128MB Video Card.
Quote: 1: Why can you not play Multiplayer? Something about this says "illegal cd-crack version" to me but there could be other reasons :-/ So if it is not an illegal version, say so.
2: Does your video card have forced anti-aliasing on? If so, turn it off. Halo Custom Edition CANNOT use it because of the "fast shaders" system it uses that helps performance but nerfs anti-aliasing compatibility.
The second one should fix your problem from what I have seen on other topic mentioning the problem. Its not illegal, i swear. It says only administrators or summat can access MP. Ive heard that many people have this problem. Edited by AvidWriter117 on Jan 28, 2008 at 08:30 PM

Halo Custom Edition CANNOT use it because of the "fast shaders" system it uses that helps performance but nerfs anti-aliasing compatibility. EDIT: I LOVE YOU!!! It took me a second to figure out how to do it, but im actually normally good with computers, so i found it in a few seconds. Once i turned the antialiasing off, its working! Gracias, and this thread can now be closed :D
EDIT AGAIN: Wrong. Ive got another problem now. The game runs, but i now have the same problem as i did with HaloPC. "You must have Administrator privileges to download this required patch." It wont let me do anything but LAN, and even then i get that message occasionally. Edited by AvidWriter117 on Jan 28, 2008 at 08:43 PM
I recently bought a new computer for about $600, with Windows Vista Home Premium. My HaloPC has worked perfectly, with much better graphics than my old computer and a faster bit-rate. Lately, ive been wanting HaloCE, so i can play some Multiplayer (HaloPC MP doesn't work for some reason). I downloaded and installed HaloCE without a problem, but when i try to load it, the game never gets past the first loading screen. It simply shows the much known 'Halo' page, with the Halo music playing continuously in the background. I believe the game is actually loading, because when i move my cursor (though its invisible) over the screen, i can hear the highlighting of various buttons. Therefore, the problem must be with the display. There is nothing wrong with my monitor, so its not that.
Can anyone help me? Im desperate!
