I've been struggling to get stuff to look right due to the fact that reflection maps and shaders don't get extracted rightl
Again, there is no "reflection maps and shaders being extracted right". The reflection maps are being extracted fine. There are no problems with extracting reflection maps, and all you can see from shaders are what bitmaps the game references for applying to each model. The shaders in halo games are meant for use in halo games, being that they are using an engine much more different when compared to say the Cryengine or unrealengine. You can't just simply take the shaders and try to slap it onto another game or program and expect it to look exactly like you want it to. Recreate it yourself instead of expecting extracted shaders to be "correct" to spoonfeed you.

wow.. 666Mhz is kinda slow for DDR3, low-end DDR2 usually goes that fast
Fix that and your 7970 could probably get like 400 FPS in foundry? Edited by OrangeJuice on May 17, 2013 at 02:32 PM http://cdn.memegenerator.net/instances/400x/24847127.jpg It's not slow but it's not fast either. It's decent.
Actually, 666mhz is not possible for DDR3 RAM. You're using Double Data Rate (DDR) ram, so you have to multiply that 666mhz by two, which is 1332 (1333). 1333mhz is generally the default class speed for DDR3 RAM.
This thread makes me feel like gravemind won't post any more updates to adjudant anymore.

(make sure to re-seat your RAM every now and then, even if it's a laptop. And dust those pesky slots :D)
I have never re-seated my RAM on all of the three desktops and two laptops that I own. I don't seem to have any problems even after five years.
voip is voice calling...
Yes, it is better to have the overall flow of the map to be similar throughout. One place should not have a significant amount of extra polies than another place in the map.
I would never use xfire for voice calls

UI is fine, and I turn sound notifications off for all my IM programs. Personally, I hate beeping sounds from IMs. File transfer is much more reliable than xfire, that's for sure. I think the main reason I use skype is for voice chat, nowadays I'm too lazy to type.
People need to move on to skype. Jesse get skype and pm me on halomaps.
OS.
Quote: --- Original message by: grunt_eaterQuote: --- Original message by: savinpvtmike you can just use the halo 3 one its the the same thing relly Hmmm. I found tags for it, but i worry about the poly count. It seems like people just love putting things into CE that don't really belong. I'll see what i can do. Lol. @Jesse: Listens to elevator music and taps foot -_-... @lexlex911: What...Theheck... Edited by grunt_eater on May 14, 2013 at 11:44 AM
It seems that people's computers nowadays are supposed to be able to handle these games with ease (with the exception of yours), therefore objects with high poly count are no problem. Decreasing poly count is lowering quality (unless used for LODs), and you would want an old game like Halo CE to have as much quality as it can get.

ask for the models and do it yourself.

I can't believe most people haven't even heard of adjudant.

(I think you've been gone for a while.) Adjutant now supports sound extraction for Reach, Halo 3 and ODST and support for Halo 4 maps. Edited by Dumb AI on May 10, 2013 at 11:42 PM yeah, I've never heard of it
You should have seen it. There was a big commotion in the original thread posted by Gravemind, then a 3.2.0.0 release thread posted by some other member of the forums. How could you miss it?

Quote: --- Original message by: MEGAVKNG I dont know why people hate win8. atleast 8.1 is bringing back the start button jeez.
It's not the same - 8.1 start button only leads to more win8 gimmicks. People don't like change.
Quote: --- Original message by: Mootjuh Just get the gtx titan and you don't have to worry about which one is better,
Yes, when you get the GTX Titan, now you have to compare it with the 7990. Edited by XlzQwerty1 on May 8, 2013 at 06:58 PM
I swear waffles meant something like having a chain-projectile-spawning-effect where grenades explode into more grenades.
I interpreted this as having grenades explode nearby grenades in multiplayer ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
